The initial problem is that fact that the awards are so unatainable for the average player. 18 kills for Knife and Pistol? Outright craziness. The fault in this lies in EA's hands. Without crazy medal goals, these servers would be few and far between. Same as Jihad jeeps for Explosives badges, claymore spam droppers, spawn camping for kill streaks, etc...

Mainly a number of the more unsavory elements of the game are perpetuated by unrealistic goal settings by EA.

I have been able to get the badges/medals that I wanted within the boundries set forth by EA/DICE.

Hey why did you ban CensoredByGod? I read that post you say was flaming and it wasnt flaming. He just wanted to know what Ghost learned about ROE that would make the rest of us change our minds like he did. Whats the big deal? I guess he was right though, you get scared and pull out your ban stick when someone asks the right questions.

All this ROE stuff is BS in my opinion, if your reporting TK'ers fair doos thats good stuff, but all this stuff about K&P servers is BS. So what if people go on K&P servers...if you care about it...get a life! K&P is done because it is a change from the norm...after all a game is played to have FUN on. So screw this BS about "waaa its not fair waaa my beutiful stats waaaa...i want my happy meal" etc etc etc. The only thing i want from my stats are the unlocks. Rank and medals mean absolutely nothing.

Just play the game and have FUN ffs.

I agree, however, why not have K/P servers UNRANKED then?

I could care less about my stats, hell, most of us don't care about them; but there ARE players who do and it's not fair to them that they work hard towards them while others cheat their way to the tops.

Wanna play K/P? Play unranked servers, otherwise be prepared for any consequences that might come your way.

Actually rank does care at times. Sometimes you don't want to get in a helo with a private. Sometimes you do to get a kick out of it... so Iunno. But I sometimes play on P&K servers... Just iggnore them.

Infantry used to be illegal, until 1.4 when EA decided that it would be nice to have. Knife and pistol is a form of stat padding, to get awards harder to earn on regular servers.

It's not done for awards at all, what awards require 400 kills or revives IAR?
It's done for stats, not awards, that's why it's called stats padding, not awards padding.

I didn't simply include you in a session of namecalling, I more or less utilized you as a proxy for emphasizing the insanity of the 60's LSD wave. I don't mind it every now and then but you really have no frame of referance other than the fact that my political views differ from yours.

If you can't see what our country has turned into and be ashamed of it, then I'm sorry. There isn't any need on flaming me for it though.

And why do you keep making referenences to hippy stuff and the 60s? You don't even know me. I'm a 25 yr old college student who happens to care what happens in my country in the next ten years.
