I don't mind it every now and then but you really have no frame of referance other than the fact that my political views differ from yours.

If you can't see what our country has turned into and be ashamed of it, then I'm sorry. There isn't any need on flaming me for it though.

And why do you keep making referenences to hippy stuff and the 60s? You don't even know me. I'm a 25 yr old college student who happens to care what happens in my country in the next ten years.

I ask, is there something wrong with that?

Oh and btw: This isn't your thread. You may have started it on someone's server but that does not give you the right to say who can and can not post on it. Especially if it's a biased opinion of the individual rather than his actual on-topic response, which is valid btw.

I despise your anti-americanism, it's uncalled for (especially amongst this populas) and it's unhealthy for the sects of people in this country with the appropriate intentions for the future. believe it or not, I concur with the notion that the current administration went down with the ship when Iraq was kicked off. But that doesn't mean I'm going turn my back on the people those SOB's in the white house sent to get shot at by people who have no desire for democracy. Because I served, and have family and friends over there right now.

Now you know my political standpoint, I still think politics is the last thing that belongs within a website like this. But as long as freedom of speech is appropriated to every angle of the board, then so be it.

I was just on a K & P server. I was so sick of playing BF2 gimped because I couldn't finish my Basic Combat Knife and Basic Pistol Combat, because high level players would kill me before I could do either.

I want all my unlocks. I'm stuck before First Sergeant and cant rank and get my unlocks. My next unlock is at 50000. I'm about 23000 now. Give me a break. Give me my damn unlocks. Next game this happens in (IE. 2142, I'm not buying), since I don't pay to have to sacrifice my life just to get good weapons in a game.

IO and K&P servers are not "real" Battlefield. Thus they shouldn't be ranked. I can average 8 or 9 SPM in IO mode (yes, I measured it) and the best I can do in a regular non-IO server is about 6 SPM.

What is stopping someone from making an unranked K&P server if it's purely for the fun?

Why were so many players opposed to making IO unranked if it's purely for the fun?

Fact is the vast majority of people play K&P for the same reason they play IO for the same reason they flip boats over in the Essex and sit on top repairing them... to pad their statistics.

i play knife-pistol servers quite frequently....i play on ranked knife-pistol servers only....and i do it ONLY FOR THE FUN OF IT....

there ARENT ANY UNRANKED KNIFE PISTOL SERVERS in MY browser when i do the search, so i have no choice.....i have an account i created specifically for it, so EA/DICE/Bush can reset me all they want, i dont care, they cant take my knife......

one main reason i do it is because i think its fun going into a server half way thru the round, and using only my knife and paddles, get more kills than anyone and get gold.....it really gives my ego that stroke it needs :P

on two other accounts, ive gotten all my knife badges in regular servers (not IO).....before they nerfed the requirement

i think some of you all are taking this rank crap just a little to seriously and really should consider getting out more. its a game.
