Holy $hit ! I only have the demo so i dont think i can get that map.

I tried it and am not really impressed. Like everyone else said what makes me sad is in the future seeing BF2 getting less updates and support from EA as they try and phase it out.

Hahaha this is so fun it is intense action. Buy it at Fry's for $35 or do the EA Downloader like I did and no cd hassle. The game runs perfect on my Windows Vista RC2 setup.

All the unlocks are crazy and it is fun working your way through with an EMP.

Mobile spawn points for Squad Leaders to lay down; its everything I ever thought Battlefield would be. Got 6 unlocks already and working on my Assault class.
Oh yah dont even get me started about how it is not even a mod and the maps are just unbelievable in detail.

It is so funny to watch the haters just sit there and mumble about the ad's and other pointless stuff; good luck to you guys and I will play BF2 every once in awhile.

I'm starting to wonder if there at least a few peeps on EA's payroll conducting viral marketing. This guy may or may not be but it seems that there are more than a few seeding their mind control statements on various boards. :|:

I have 2142...and love it. Whoever says they arent getting it because the demo sucked, i just wanna say try to play the retail version...its 10x better.

Squad play is 10x better then BF2 because of Field Upgrades.

The infantry fighting is absolutely insane on some maps.

Is 2142 fun? Yes it can be really fun.

The question really is, will it play on your machine?

Answer: It's a $50 gamble.

Be warned. Judging by the TotalBF2142 forums, this game is having serious CTD and BSOD issues without any logical fixes.

My advice would be to wait for the first patch or hotfix to come out that addresses these issues and see if that clears it up.

The reason I cant get it is that in Thailand there is no English version.
The only English version is the Collectors edition, which features ALL bf2 games which i dont have, but its 100$..

BF1942: bloody good dogfights
BFV: was a good step into BF2 with the music playlists and city/jungle fighting
BF2: best so far apart from the bugs/glitches
BF2142: great really like the spawn screen and controls but the demo aint very good
Verdict: yes I am getting BF2142 and lets hope they dont muck it up with patches

wow looks like a lot of people have been missing out
some of you have been saying "vote with your money" but why not vote with EA's money. I the see the adware (or "spyware") as a good thing. It will keep EA/DICE in line because if there is any thing like a 1.3 patch then people will stop playing and the will lose sponsorships.
