BF1942: bloody good dogfights
BFV: was a good step into BF2 with the music playlists and city/jungle fighting
BF2: best so far apart from the bugs/glitches
BF2142: great really like the spawn screen and controls but the demo aint very good
Verdict: yes I am getting BF2142 and lets hope they dont muck it up with patches

I saw BF2142 at FRY'S. At there were over 100 boxes of BF2142 sitting there. That just proves the people are fed up.... Oh yeah it was on sale also for $39.95

Like ppl said earlier, all BF2142 is, is a MOD.
Maybe if it didnt have spyware. Look the same as BF2 and I wasnt shooting little blue laser balls..... Then yea. but **** paying $50 for the same game that I already have.

Well I sat down lastnight and played about 3 hours of 2142 and it produced some of the most intense fire fights I have ever been in it harkens back to Berlin in bf1942 and basras edge in DC. We played about 4 diffrent maps and they were all filled with total mayhem..also expirianced some of the best squad play to date in any incarnation of a bf game. I change my tune and would definitly recommend playing 2142.

I miss that, all this missile lock and one plane being better puts you off flying in BF2.

I used to go up in 1942 and come away with "WoW that was fun" you had more time in it and space to play.

I wish they would go back and update it.

did you know fall of berlin has 30 bill boards
for adds

also did you know bf2142 has slower gameplay so intense fire fights are non existing things.
Realy give me break, if they maby change it to recoil instead random crone fire where you must spray bullets instead aiming, I would consinder to download a illegal version

This new game is not anything like Battlefield. Its just a huge joke on us. EA will only listen when you withhold your money. So don't buy this crap game, save your money, and show EA they need to do better next time.

I agree 100%. Companies only listen to their bottom line. There is still a good size market for BF2. I would even purchase another EP for $9.95. The infrantry only option and the new map has revived the excitement of the game and I am real close to the 2nd LT rank and there are still alot of people on servers as of yesterday. I think EA-Dice should perfect the BF2 game before moving on to the future.

BF 2142 has all the signs of a game that will loose support more quickly than BF2. Simply put, there are far fewer players joined up for 2142 then there were at the same time for BF2. Additionally there are far fewer servers at the same point. EA has done a great job sticking a knife through 2142 even before it was launched. It really doesn't matter if its a good game or not, its pretty much finished.

And NO I will not purchase 2142.

I think the majority of people who bought 2142 got it for the ranks and shiny new meaningless medals. People no longer play the game for FUN; they play it to get medals.

Yeah, I pretty much agrea with you on that one. I gave up on stats awhile ago when I lost intrest in BF2. Then PoE2 came out and well.... I'm going to play alittle PoE2 right now.

just read through the whole thread saw nothing about sticking with BF2 for the MODS and was going to write what you say.

With EOD2 FH2 Pirates...who needs to waste money?
