Its not that bad a game, its just that it's got a few glitches, and they had to release a lot of patches. It's a pretty good game; I'm just really disappointed that they refuse to support widescreen.

Congratulations to Dice? The game has done nothing except go down hill since it came out! You should have been here in the begining and you would have seen that.
Lots of big promisses and good Ideas that never quite became a reality. All I can say is it just makes me sad to see what Bf2 is and what it was, never mind what it could have been. Just like a dog in the yard chaseing after his own tail, lots of action but still never really going anywhere. Its just sad. . . . . . . . .Red

While I wont agree total here, Yes it is far from a success. 2142 is being pushed so hard its allready fallen on its face.

Games should be designed with the games life in mind... BF2 is out 2 years and already they want to move on.

MMOs live for an average of 5 years, and can live longer ie. EQ running on 8 years now (march1999)

Point is EA/Dice are like any business... the saying goes as such: no money no honey.

Yea, I'm beginning to feel that bf2 is a failure at this point. What blows me away is you can tell they put alot of work into the game. But there are certain key aspects that totally ruin this game. Namely the fact that any time people get in a confrontation they instantly roll and lay. Also the claymore chucking is an absolute joke. Last night I about went Apesh*t because the opposing team had like five guys that were tasked with chunking claymores at spawn points. Kamakazees because they had just enough time to run into the herd of enemies and drop the mines but not enough to get out. And the fuvking things blow up when your 15 fvcking meters from them which is an absolute joke. Then there is the lag since the last patch that i am experiencing and I have a blazing computer with fast connection. The game has potention but the claymore/grenande fest and and a few other things have really ruined it for me.

still i play bf2 everyday 2-4 hours and love it....
best game i ever played and will be playing it as long as i can..

perfect mix between arcade and simulation..
even with all the problems the game comes, it's still one of best games ever made imo. one big feature is is that you can play this game the way you like to play it. no strings attached, no forced teamplay...
