BF2 is not dead its far for being dead. Everyday i get around 1400 active servers with people playing on it. If you say BF2 is dead then what will happen with 2142 ?

Having played BF2142 demo, don't like it. As far as I can tell, it uses exact same engine as BF2. Graphic is awkward, and not as fun to play. Still in love with BF2.

ummm, why bring 2142 into this...this is about bf2 not 2142
and bf2 is dying, but its dying very, very slowly...couse about every week about 1 player stops playing bf2

BF 2142 has such a negative fan base that there may actually be an increase in BF2 players. People call it a breath of fresh of air after playing the demo. BF2 will not die easily. If BF 1942 can last as long as it has, so will this game.

I played the demo yesterday and i didnt really like it. I could load it up once inawhile just for a breath of fresh air as someone stated.

Its like they took BF2 and added more bloat to it. Everything is just so fatter with all the armour and pretty effects which are useless.

Dont get me started with the color schemes. Everything is so dull ... and then you have a look at maps like Wake with all those vibrant colors.

BF2 will not die anytime soon.
