Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
that is a little more speculation then I think we should give. Odds are it is minor tweaks to the original 1.4 stuff that they discovered now that it has been out for 3+ weeks.
The information we have at this time is that this is a server-side upgrade to the 1.4 patch and NOT a full client patch. If we hear any further information on this matter we'll update you accordingly. Sorry it's nothing more exciting than that.

I read somewhere that only the preorder people could play 2142 Thursday evening (1st 24 hours after release). The rest of the people getting connection errors must be the other "geniuses" unable to read the notice..

They actually said that they are not making any more gameplay changes, just fixing some bugs.

I actually say that IRL just to mix it up a bit, believe it or not. :p I keep forgetting that the 'other' word is part of the swear filter at this site, TBH, so bypassing it was unintentional.
You have to promise though, when you bag yourself some ducks and deer you will scream out at the top of your lungs "YOU GOT PWNZORD!!!!" :laugh:

I don't use leet speak, but I do whoop and holler a lot when great shots are made from the duck blind. As far as "tea bagging" goes, I can only speak for myself and say ..... NO.
And to the patch, I have only been able to find news about a server side patch. There is no credible talk about a client side patch at all. We have what we have and I just don't see any further support for BF2. Now, the good news is that once BF2 drifts into the nether regions, your favorite mod might be able to release patches to fix persistant problems. The guys that made Desert Combat did that.
it sounds liek thhis "server side upgrade" might help with the connection problems...hopefully....ive never had so many with 1.4 and some of my freinds just quit bf2 cuz they couldnt get into a server
It better fix it, because this is what i'm suffering at the moment. I almost quit BF2, but i don't want to let my clan down.

I think DICE would be wise to keep supporting the BF2 community as this is such a massive game that IMHO still has much potential. I just don't think 2142 will have as much a fanbase as BF2 does.
