lol at the in game advertising even though i can't wait for 2142.

i've never seen more than 200-250 IO servers up at any given time, and they're all playing karkand or jalalalabad all the time which gets REALLY old.

The infantry only is easy to explain, Ive played it and this is based on what I saw. Most people dont want to spend the time to learn how all the parts of the game work, How to use and or avoid the vehicles. So with IO mode you dont have that problem, its just run and gun. I have also noticed that there are a lot of people useing cheats these days. A cheat is useless against a tank or attack chopper. Again with IO mode problem solved (cheat not helping problem). Why EA cant see this Ill never know, or is it that they dont care? Maybe thier trying to force us all to move to 2142?
If Ive missed something or you dont agree feel free to explain your view but remember before I answer Ill pull up your stats looking for that sudden jump in points that all cheaters have (mabe EA will figure this one out too). . . . . . . . . .Red

Hmmm, I like the IO, I don't like driving around, fighting for that one tank, going all frenzy because I want that chopper/jet, no dirty cars, no roads spammed with vehicles, tanks, apcs...

I like the sneaking and squad-action, it takes some teamwork and intelligence, if I want to just drive around and kill as much people as possible, I play GTA.

Maybe I would like it better if the amount of vehicles was limited. But there are vehicles for almost everyone...

IO is great on city maps....still makes me shudder every time karkand comes along.

As for the OP, check your search filters and that should solve your problem.

i find spec-ops much more irritating than sniper (class wise). as for IO, it is both a good thing and a bad thing.

Good: ground pounders can go toe-to-toe with one another without worry of spawnrape by vehicle whores. imo this helps the teamwork factor (but not by much).

Bad: it is heaven for statwhores. people fo to IO to use and abuse the medic and support classes.

I have never understood how some ppl feel that is it "whoring", or "abuse", to chose a kit that has a good weapon, & you can help your team m8's w/

Warlord, Sharqi, & leviathan are good IO maps

Problem is, right after that sponsor version of BF2 comes out you'll have a medic and support player spamming nades out of the blimp like whoa..

the server i've been playing on is actually pretty light on nade and claymore spamming since ff is on. its really nice.

Hell i have seen far to many infantry only servers that will kick if u use sniper period.Servers are getting lamer and lamer as of late :)

Thats because players are getting lamer and lamer. IO shouldnt be about how many snipers can fit on one map. Its ludacris, especially Jalallala, 32 players = 20-25 snipers and 7 medics. Its not fun, its just lame. I think a limit on snipers would open up the gameplay to what it should be. IO Should be squads of 3-6 fighting other sqauds of 3-6 for bases. As it stands now, on just about every map, its more who can control one point with snipers and thats the battle. 80% of the time niether side is even bothering to control the map and just focuses on one area. Snipers just lay there and fire. Theres no skill involved. Add the stupid Claymore crap and it just degenerates into a noob filled snipe fest.

Perhaps if more people used more than the one class, IO could be as fun as it is when people are actually "Playing" the game. Roving bands of fighters capping flags and having what amounts to seriously intense fire fights with opposing forces. I guess you cant blame noobs for going for the "Easy" fights though.

I personnally love getting around the snipers and knifing 3 or 4 of them while they cry hack, cause their so intent on the easy "wait till they come over the hill" tactics that they dont even bother watching their backs.

I applaud admins who want a real game and not girl's slumber party on their servers.

Thats a pretty small viewpoint and since when does looking up stats prove someone is hacking?? Are you implying that someone who may have just gotten a new system and has gotten better at the game is a hack? Well according to his stats, he may have sucked one day and then became leet due to his new comp. Perhaps he got a better Internet Connection and it improved his play. Maybe the guys brother is really good and he was playing one day and got some fantastic stats on his brothers account. There's a lot more variables to consider than what his stats may show.

Or maybe you just suck at ground combat and get owned in IO and thats why you think cheating is so much more prevalant. Or possibly your just a bitter child who instead of working to get better, blame your noobness on everything except your own inadaquacy. I dont know but since you have decided to jump to your conclusions Ill go ahead and jump to mine.

As for looking up my stats, good luck I havent been able to view mine since I started playing when the game was released. I have to rely on BFHQ for point updates and such. Lucky for me I dont play for points and could care less what you think of my stats. Noob.

Oh yeah, Im just as good at IO as I am at Vehicles and quite frankly if you had to choose between playing against me with Armor and playing with me on foot, you should choose on foot.
