What is with all the IO servers?

Ok, this is teh suck.

I just want to play a ranked server with vehicles.
I probably browsed through +100 servers and ALL are infantry only.

WTF? Vehicles basically make BF a fun game. Why don't u just play CS : DM or something if you don't want vehicles.
Not only that, I don't mind some servers beinf INF only, but FREEKING EVERY SERVER IS 'NO VEHICLES = 1'

Learn to use the filters in the server browser so we dont have to read your 'gay' thread...

Hell i have seen far to many infantry only servers that will kick if u use sniper period.Servers are getting lamer and lamer as of late :)

i find spec-ops much more irritating than sniper (class wise). as for IO, it is both a good thing and a bad thing.

Good: ground pounders can go toe-to-toe with one another without worry of spawnrape by vehicle whores. imo this helps the teamwork factor (but not by much).

Bad: it is heaven for statwhores. people fo to IO to use and abuse the medic and support classes.

I would make sure you have your filters checked off accordingly. Nothing more embarrassing than posting a thread like this only to find out that it was all user error.

I would not necessarily go as far as to say that. Server owners are attempting to provide the public with a choice. It has nothing to do with making Bf2 "more better" as you put it.

Well maybe no-snipers is too harsh, but a no-claymore rule is quite nice.
Its actually players themselves who have lead to such sometimes rediculous rules. EA/DICE are not doing anything about it, but some servers at least try.
I'd love to play bullets only again where you don't have a hail of grenades before every encounter. Well luckily most of the time I haven't been on the receiving or the giving end of "nade spamming", but when it does happen, its not nice.

Snipers are like tax officials, sitting in their snuggy little holes, writing out fines and being protected by their trusty attorneys. Nobody likes them, but its often fun being one.

I bet your the person who was complaining about vehicles before patch 1.4 came out and that you only wanted infantry as a mode. Then they come out and you complain
