Yeah mosque prayers speaking the Quran, 6am,9am,noon,3pm,6pm How I know this, i visited a mosque a few months ago.

I thought it depends on ...uhm what site the mosque is
Sunni or shi'a
One calls 3 times the other 5.
Staying in Djakarta in a crappy cheap hotel without windows next to a
mosque I can tell you that you will not sleep anymore
after the morning prayer :)

Hello to all,
I don't know if someone noticed it but with a x-fi card, you can hear some incredible samples in Optimal mode !
For exemple in Mashtur in a building near the Mosque, when you stand near the window, you can hear some water running in the pipes, amazing the level of detail ! Problem is that I stand still too long and being sniped

It doesnt matter what sect of Islam your part of, its 5 times a day.

Everyday the times change by a few minutes - up or down, depending on what side of the daylight savings your in.

Just thought id let the people who dont know that the sound that you hear at the mosque at Jalalabad is the actual call for prayer for muslims.

I think you need to have your sound setting on high?

I personally think it was a nice touch, and its probably the fist game iv heard it in.

If your playing mec, it could really inspire you :p

a similar thing to this is in Driv3r on ps2, you drive near a mosque in istanbul and you can hear the prayer call. ive never heard this on bf2 but im using low sound...

I'm hearing a ton of tiny sounds with sennheiser headphones. Sometimes, they feel freaky when you're alone in a dark room. I thought the sound came from outside not from the game. They can be distracting if you're not expecting those sounds. But if I use the speaker system even at high volume, I no longer hear those or they are very faint. I'm using onboard AC'97

Don't think so I'm running onboard AC'97 on medium and can hear it fine.

Ok, maybe it was that on my new pc i turned everything to max and earlier my sound settings were low. I just assumed by default that it was the onboard HD sound card ... assumptions are dangerous ... you can make an a$$ out of u and umption

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I've only played that map twice, and the first time was with the PRMM mod and the second was last night: my first time playing BF2 since August 27th!

Annoying? Buddy, other religions may have annoying things about them but we dont go arund telling eveyone.

How did I know someone would flame on that... I'm not saying that aspect of the their religion is annoying but when you hear it all the time, and you're not used to it, it seems it. If you're not of muslim faith, being in that environment is unique. Thats all I'm going to say before all you effin flame whores bust out the comments.

The point is *you SHOULD tell people that what they believe in annoys you*.

That way, if they have any sense of decency, they'll leave you alone, hopefully forever.

As an added bonus, you're much less likely to be annoyed by their beliefs anymore.
