3)and should i buy it? im starting to buy war games for online play and is this a good one to get? or should i buy socom 3?

    thanks a lot for answering

ps-this is modern combat for ps2
If your looking for smaller maps, for camoflouge oppurtunities, more possible tactics and types of gameplay, more communication, get SOCOM 3(I have it to and I love it) If you want in your face, armour, jet, helicopter(And good sniping spots!) get BF2.

Both are great games, I have both, but if I could only play one it'd be socom.

Hm... I don't see any sense in you asking a forum for BF2 players. They're all going to allude to saying yes to buying it. Silly.

Yeah, but Steam people don't think. They're all one big succession of reflexes and mindless responses to movement.

BF2 encourages SOME level of thinking and strategic play at least. Unfortunately, EA and DICE haven't done such a good job with making the points system reward SMART and COOPERATIVE gameplay.

You're on the wrong track here. BF2 is not a twitchy shooter. If you want deathmatch then try Unreal Tournament or CSS.

lol have you tried dod:s, it takes way more teamwork and cooperation than any game, probobly ever. yer seriously talking about half-life that way? wow screw off, know your place! aside from counter-crap, steam games own! team fortress freaking invented class based gameplay!

take out the vehicles and you have a shooter, aka infantry only mode.

Tsk tsk tsk, looks like someone hasnt played SWAT4, especially "Smash and Grab" mode in SWAT4 TSS . If theres a game which represents teamwork, SWAT4 beats all games to the ground with no serious contest that I know of.

Whoa--a lot of people I know are not buying bf2141 because of BF2 and all it's problems. Also many are not going to pay big money for a game that is essentially a mod of BF2.

Some have also said don't expect Quake etc. Again with all the hopping, proning, nade spamming, unbalanced weapons, jets owning the maps they are on , bugs not being patched, unable to change your player name etc.--BF2 is not far off an arcade run and gun around game now rather than a military shooter.

After playing the game for so long, I would say stay away from both.

BTW, since you are talking about a console--you need to find another forum. But the advice is the same--don't buy it.

never tried that, looked too "tom claney" esq. i dont deny its cooperative superiority. i was just sticking up for valve, seeing as its the best game company ever. saying there isnt any teamwork involved means he had to have been playing cs. hell even action halflife and specialists mod have more teamwork than cs.
