lol cheers guys, its ok im on several airsoft forums n dozens of music producer sites so i know the deal. iv got the 1.4 patch now just need to install it. lookin forward to gettin stuck in and getting those ranks shakin up lol thanks again ppl, see u on the front

Ok, I'm going to ask what is probably a no-brainer question. But I'm hazy and I'd just like some clarification... If I install a mod I'll still be able to play on ranked servers? I tried installing a mod last month, then I couldn't get on the ranked servers. So there's a switch I was missing, right?

Mods play on unranked servers only

EA wont support them on Ranked proberly because theirs stats involved

izza, if ranked servers are showing up red, you don't have the latest patch installed.

What you need to do once downloaded is run the .exe file and it will automatically install all the relevant components. Just make sure you have the 1.4 full patch, this contains all previous patches as well as the latest one, that should be all you need to play on a ranked server.

Once you get that working you can start looking at mods and stuff if you want.

Thanks Scinto, but going by [OAP]Daddy_Catty's post it sounds like I can have mods installed and play them, then on ranked servers when I'm in the mood for it. That isn't the case? I'm not trying to be obtuse here, I just want to make sure I've got it right. I've already had to re-install once, I don't want to do it again.
