you have to unlock the l85 before the g36e as they are both medic unlocks.

I am guessing you are thinking about the g36c spec-op unlock. Also a nice gun but the g36e > all

the l85 is a specific use weapon, the g36e is a general use weapon, theres no compairision, g36e hands down.

the l85 and scarl are both weapons that have sniping capability, but are pathetic in automatic, not good battle rifles.

It's amazing to me that people even debate this. The G36E is by far the most overpowered gun in the game, it has the highest damage/sec by a large margin. Of course it's personal preference, but if you can get used to the tri-shot burst, the G36E is the only way to fly.

the g36e isnt overpowered, its a fair fight with the ak, that said, the m16 isnt really a match for the ak imo.

I use the L85A1 quite a lot on Mash and Road to Jabalalal due to the increased amount of long range targets.

For Sharqi and Karkand I use G36E or Ak-101, much better for CQC and Mid Range.

Just look at the numbers. The time-to-kill is 2 tenths of a second faster on the G36E. There is no other gun in the game that kills an armored target in 0.3 seconds. That is huge! And that's not even considering it has better recoil and less deviation than most guns. If it's not overpowered, I'm scared to see a gun that is

G36E always! If anyone gets between your crosshairs they are almost as good as dead.

G36E FTW! crazy CQC and on single shot very effective over long distances. OK the L85 is accurate over long distances but sux0r up close.

Best? AK101 ftw, period. When on USMC I bounce between the 2 guns, the 3 round burst irritates me so at times I'll use the L85, but my preference is to kill a MEC medic and take his AK :)

I'm with you. If I'm on USMC, I'll ussually take the G36E getting most kills in single shot, but I run around with burst and switch from the two shooting modes with my 3rd mouse button. Then when I kill a MEC medic, I'll take his AK101 everytime.

G36E!!!! L85 is only good when close range but you can barely snipe with it, G36e is excellent in any range of combat

i would have to say G36E cause of its accracy but i hate medics cause they are the ones that reviev you when there is the bad guys around and they can get 3 revives on one guy before there dead.

good point, i was speaking more "in practice" you are right though, numbers wise its king, its just that in practice, the learning curve on it and the ak make them both very potent, unlike the m16, which now matter how good you are, an ak/g36e can easily dispatch you, at least thats been my experience.
