Re: useless/good server rules
I have to disagree. I often spend a lot of time watching the blue dots on my map screen advance into the MEC base where the tank spawns on Sharqi. Then I have to click these blue dots, find out what their name is, and warn them not to do that. Then I have to kick them b/c they won't listen.
It's true that sometimes I won't know someone is breaking the rules right away, but if someone on the other team does complain and make me aware of the situation it gets fixed quickly. If you are saying that rules are only enforced on the people (non-clan members) that come into our server, that may be true some places, but not on our servers. If someone in my clan were to TK for a vehicle there would be consequences outside of the game.
As far as making the game fun for everyone. When I say "fun for everyone" I mean fun for the people who enjoy our server. Obviously, some people, like yourself, don't want rules. I'm not making you play on our server. Other people, do like rules because then you can have servers where they don't get spawn raped constantly by some stat padder. The regulars on our server expect a certain level of "tard-free" game play which we try to consistently provide. I'm not saying rules is better than no rules, but there is plenty of space for both to coexist and ultimately make everyone happy.
