Yes, I haven't used an ATI card in years so anything I say about video cards wrt BF2 comes from an nVidia perspective.
Personally, I don't mind forcing AA and AF levels in games...but I haven't had to do it in years since most games have a pretty good selection of options in-game.
I figure there is a reason that BF2 only lists 4X AA as a max option for nVidia cards for a reason..so I stick with it. Besides, I probably won't notice anything with going higher except for a decrease in FPS.
