I know it's a huge point whore level, but I can't get enough of it!!! Seriously out of the past 10 games I've played on Jalalabad, 8 of them have been gold medals for me, and all are above 80 points.

I think this comes to show my whoring skills at A. throwing nades and B. Using the single shot on the G36E.....for the love people it's amazing until you need the 3 round burst up close.

Oh yea, running in rambo style catches everyone off guard when the other team is in a really big group :)

This shows the mind of 80% people playing BF2. It's sad really. I feel bad for most of them.


Back on topic:
It's an OK map, nothing special. Don't like that open space in the begining.

I really like the layout of the level, its got a very realistic infantry feel.

Im soo close to the 20,000 point mark so I can get my next unlock that I too have been spamming nades and being a medic on IO mode.

As soon as I get a new weapon its back to the normal play but I figure if they are going ot make stat padding legal I might aswell take advantage and get my points when I need them. They really need to make another patch to tweak the classes in IO. Its so unbalanced its pathetic.

Its a great map, a huge slaughter. It brings a well needed change to BF2, especially in IO mode. There isnt anything unbalanced ffs, its just plain mayhem, and mayhem is fun.....

Go into a 64 player server running jalalabad and count the number of medic and support classes being played. Then wait awhile and count how many times the USMC wins. Then tell me how thats not unbalanced.

Your going to see much MUCH more medics and support players than usual and the USMC will lose 95% of the time. Ive played the map 23 times since it was released according to bf2s and I can only remember the USMC winning 2 times and that was on a small server.

Road to Jalalabad is a really good map. It's a much better map than Karkand because the battle is usually spread out across the map instead of being stuck at one flag, like hotel. It's a horrible infantry only map though... everyone plays snipers and medics...

i love all city maps jalalabad included. however jalalabad and mashtuur city are the only ones that need vehicles imo.

No IO mode on Jalalabad otherwise it's impossible for USMC to break through the defence of the MEC.. The tanks/vehicules ad so much to this map.. You see like 3/4 USMC buggies racing towards flags at the same time.. Makes it realy hard for MEC to defend.. and usually USMC wins this map. Jalalabad is a great map for snipers to BTW.. It's best when you have a full squad on foot.. Capping flags killing everything having loads of fun!

Sorry I must of miss-read the post or skim read it a bit to quick! In IO MEC will win 99.99% of the time, 75% of the team will be Sniper, 24% will be medic and the other 1% will be spec ops or something. Jalallabad is the worst IO map.
