The Real Problem with BF2

The Real problem with BF2 is NOT the Tanks, Jets, Maps, Chopters, Patches, weapons, and ETC.
It's the players and BF2 forums. BF2 used to be a great place to play.
Everyone joined squads, Commander helped out the squads, people sharded the tanks and jets and chopters. Then BF2 fourms came around and now everything sucks. I am not saying this is a bad forum (Even though it's bad sometimes), I am talking about BF2 forums in General. All anyone even does on a BF2 forum is complaint about BF2. That all an BF2 forums have even bein' there for, is to whine and complaint. I think there is no point to it.
EA/Dice is not going to read this or any other BF2 forum and say "Oh! We need to fix alot of stuff". It is :cry: that Most BF2 players are Kids who are like 10 and cuss and play BF2 all night and not get yell at by their Dad/mom for doing so. That's all the BF2 Comm is anymore, is A bunch of whinly kids who play BF2 everyday and post on BF2 fourms. I am not saying all you guys are, but a few of you. All people/kids do anymore on BF2 are the following:
-Stat pad
-Whine
-Tk
-Whore
-and many other things as well
I am still trying to understand, why anyone would post on a BF2 forum, make a whining thread about everything that needs to be fixed in BF2, and think that EA is going to read it. It drives me nuts! and Yes, When I first played BF2 I was one of those whinly kids (That owned). But now, I am older and I am tryed of hearing almost everyone complaint about EVERY little THING in BF2!
PLEASE grow up and take it like a man/woman. It's life, Things in life suck sometimes, and yo can't change them, this also goes with BF2. Also, Don't think I am whining about this. I am stateing a big fact of BF2, that there will not be another patch, EA has moved on, and we have to deal with it. I may move on and buy BF242, because I am sick and tryed of listening to people (some are growen men) whine about a game so much. I am betting there will be whinly kids and adults in BF2142, but I think Most of the BF2 players will not go with the new BF2142 idea and try and keep BF2 live. Well, that time has come and pass, and all I can say is BF2 is a zombie.

Players + Community = Even Better Game

then...

First Patch + Community + Recall of Patch and reinstall BF2 = Utter Choas

Following Patches + Community + Stat Padders/TKs/Cheaters + EA's crappy ability to make a patch = Total Chaos

At the end of the day, there are 3 types of players.

Player 1 (many of the vocal totalbf2 members) like to spend their time bitching about how EA has ruined their life and caused irreversible trauma to their self-esteem. They also like to use big words like 'class action' and 'lawsuit' - often to show other members of how serious they really are about ‘giving it to the man’.

Generally, these players are the most irritating.

Player 2 hates the game so much that they have actually stopped playing the game all together and now relies solely on the mods. However, they sill frequent the general bf2 forums and get their jollies off by bashing the game one way of another.

These players are the most pathetic.

Player 3 actually plays the game (defects and all) and learns to adapt. I believe that this category represents the silent majority of bf2 players. They realize that BF2 is a video game and that there are more important things to life then bitching about grenade spamming and unbalanced virtual jets. They have also learned the secret Zen like art of playing on servers with active admins.

These players are the most happy and definitely have the most fun.

all i hear about is EA/Dice ability to make crap patches!!!!
maybe if the people who work so hard to make hacks should put all that effort into making a patch and submitting it to EA/Dice.
who knows maybe they will take it on board, maybe you make a million dollars for doing it and maybe they will throw it in the bin, but either way what gives you the right to complain unless you try

EOG is a unique individual. He got banned for some reason from planet BF after reaching an almost cult status for his classic posts.

You are 110% right. I'm part of player 3 group. I'm just an average player who really enjoy playing Bf2 in v1.0, v1.22, v1.3 and now v1.4 with Road to Jalalabad. And i'm just waiting to decide witch online FPS game I will playing in 2007: BF2142, QWET, Crysis or UT2007.

I have really enjoy my several hours playing BF2 that cost me only 50 bucks (here in Chile a little more, though)

the thing is Eye_of_God i agree with you post however trying to tell people that wont make them stop,, anyone ever see that Simpsons episode where Lisa did an experiment between Bart & a hamster, the electified Cup Cake, the Cup Cake being the perfect version of Bf2 and bart being everyone else giving suggestions on how to make it better.

oh oh me me, im content of how the game is fine i might whinge in game the odd time but most of the time i gloat, be a bit cocky about peoples bad shots bad bombing i can make fun of others because i know im bad at it myself the odd time we all have our bad days, sure i dont get golds every round (look at my stats and laugh lol) but i play for fun and to relieve some stress after a hard days work.

New patch announced: More complaining, Ea/Dice bashing

Patch delayed: Complaining, EA/Dice bashing.

Patch released: Eerie calm while everybody plays it, then complaining, EA/Dice bashing

It's ridiculous! The problem is the BF2 community in general. There are great people, but for every cool person, there's 50 cussing adolescents/young adults.

Making and fixing a game like BF2 isn't just press a few buttons and 'Send'

There's a lot more to it then people know.

I'm telling everybody to stop playing, step away from their computer, and just examine themselves, and see if they're one of those people. Actually acknowalge that other people are playing with you, some who's age isn't even in double-digits, and are cussing black and blue, because they heard some adult saying it.

It's sad...Older gamers, try to set a good example, so that others follow you and so we have a welcoming, friendly community, unlike PlanetBattlefield, where almost every post is a flame.
