fixed it does 30 damage a shot so 4 shots for a kill (2 bursts) the first tier one does 34 so it takes 1 less shot to kill

the scar-l does if i remember, 28 per shot where as the g36c is 25. hope i helped at all

nope. 32 damage for g36e, 1 full burst and 1 extra bullet (4 shots). unless u hit the head, 2 shots. g36C (compact) is 27 damage, because of the shorter stock of the carbine, 4 shots. 2 to the head, however l85a1 is 34 damage. 3 body shots or 1 to the head. that is why the l85a1 is so much better, unreal accurate in single shot, 1 shot on a dived opponent, 1 shot on a sniper, so he cant get up and run and hide, one shot one a stationary mounted MG guy so he cant duck and heal etc, and all round sniper accuracy. if u use the l85a1 bind a mouse key to single/full u will use it alot. 20m or more u will almost always win against any other rifle in single shot, unless someone with g36e or g3 get the jump on you. 1 accurate in burst one accurate in single that does alot of damage.

I love it, especially as it is extremely quiet when firing. You can be shooting people from quite a close range and get overlooked, you see the enemy looking about behind you as the shots can sound like being fired far away :) Not much good on a city map rampage, no better than any other gun. Its a shame they didn't include a silencer for the M4 a la CS, there is no silenced weapons apart from pistols.

PKM is overated.

It packs a big punch but the lack of consistant accuracy makes the other support weapons so much better.

Could never find the sweet spot on the iron sights of the PKM. Always seemed like if I started from the feet, i'd hit the dirt, but if I started high for the head, the rounds would go over their head. After the fourth round, it seemed like your accuracy drops to 0, too. I have to be aiming at the wrong point on the iron sights, or something.

Oh, and SCAR-L is a pretty good, versatile weapon for Spec Ops class. Single-shot mode, you can pwn if you don't get killed first, which is Spec Ops's problem:No armor. I've lost so many fights, because the SCAR-L couldn't beat another classes's damage or armor first. Spec Ops was always about getting the drop on the other guy, anyhow.

i waited for the Scar what with being content with my G-36C (i prefer ironsights to laser dot scopes [they are horrible imo])

as for the PKM, go for it, i prefer the MG36 but you need the PKm anyways for that.

the last 2 unlocks i'd get would be the MP7 and Scar-L

If you like to play a little armor, get one of the shotguns for either Engineer or AA. I just got the SCAR, and I haven't been overly impressed yet.

I have made so many desperate flailing kills with the shotguns after bailing out of a burning tank into a crowd of enemy. Way better than the Mp5 You can't miss at close range, and it fires fast and plentifully. it also will take a guy down at surprising range too if you are getting head shots.
