But for an admin, if he has to constantly babysit, it becomes non fun for him as it takes away from his other duties, and gametime... But if you're gonna let someone in your community or clan, to belittle them based only on the fact they are young kids, is wrong, and if see that at B1station, those perpetrators are banned without chance of re-instatement... We have one kid, that his voice is really squeaky, so i know what you other guys are saying, it's almost schrilling, but he's a damn good kid, and a damn good player, and he doesn't use annoying pimple slang, infact none of our kids do.

We have about 25 kids aged between 13 and 15, and many times, they are less of a poor sport than our adults! We are very fortunate to have such good, well behaved kids at B1, but alot of it is, we get rid of trouble makers very quickly and weed out the bad members, we are well adminned, and everyone is 100 % aware of the rules..

Good kids help keep your server full.
annoying kids only attract other annoying kids, and any new prospective quality recruits will quickly shy away when a server or TS wreaks of annoying kids... And this is why many clans have an age limit..

I hate when little fat kids go on VOIP, and when they die for example scream into their mike, 'MEDIC!!!!!! MEDIC!!! GET ME A MEDIC DUDEE! I ONLLY GOOTT LIKE 10 SECONDS!!!!' That pisses me off, and it's happened before. I'm only 12, but I consider myself a pro gamer, started off by playing Quake II when I was about 6, moved on to many other shooters and action games.

Ok, im not like some uber only talks in 1337 guy, i do not spam the friggen voip, and i try to help my team win in any way, shape or form possible. adn i dont scream into the mic or have it 1 cm form my mouth

If you dont use the mic...everyones happy. Just dont say anything stupid...or spam the voip, most people (infact even kids) will judge you as a noob by your voice.

The only time I enjoyed VOIP, was playing on a server with real life marines. It was awesome to hear them saying everything they would on a real battlefield.

it is somewhat evident that the people who stereotype, and make these snap judgements, and jump to such conclusions are fairly stupid.....it isnt possible for me to care any less of what they think/say/do as a result of their own stupidity....and neither should you....

Yes, I agree. It's all just a stereotype that everybody gaming under 13 is annoying. Totally not true. However, it really shouldn't exist that anyone does play under the age of 13, due to the TOS (I may be wrong).

But quite honestly, I don't care if you're 90, or if you're 9, as long as you aren't doing something to hinder the team from accomplishing their goals, or come on the VoIP every 5 seconds to scream "Enemy down!", I'm fine with it.

To sum it all up: If you can be mature, I don't care how old/young you are.

I am 48 and from East Texas....so I sound cOntry, therefor I never use voip and it usually gets on my nerve (I only have one) unless it is a good commander or Squad leader/member that says where enemy is and game related only.

If you're mature and a teamplayer I don't care what age you are. I've played with mature 13 year olds and played with assholes 25 year olds. It all varies from person to person. However yes in general most sub-13 players are immature. This probably stems from Counter-Strike. Most of the sub-13 players have just learned all the "cool" curse words and like to shout them when they get killed, along with typing racist language because they're under the anonymity of the internet.

It's lessened since then but that's probably where most people get that opinion. If people give you crap for being 13 though, just take stride in knowing that they probably were not hugged enough as children so they have to take their pride by making fun of kids over the internet. At the end of the day you'll be the mature one.

EDIT: By the way I'm 14 (almost 15) so I've gotten crap before for my age too

just play and shrug that stuff off.

rofl, i must agree with u

i have no probs (apart from the squeaky voice, lol) with teens playing. some are even better at BF2 than 18yr olds showing off, etc. :P

as long as they can play smoothly and respect the team, i have no probs :)
