I just realized that the quit button in BF2 now says "Run home to momma" and "BFHQ" is all spelled out.

What's the deal with that?

Jalabad has no map description and screwed up capture point names.... so many strange yet, not game-breaking issues in 1.4....its like I got a 3rd beta of the patch.

Consultan you've downloaded a localization file pack..
You already know by now..

Quite funny since I also have that localization filepack. But I think I'm going to switch that to BFHQ and Quit again..

I just changed it back to normal, they looked to weird because they were so long and stood out too much.

Can anybody post an updated mappacks.txt (or whatever) with the Jalalabad info in it?

This wasnt your mod at all, it's been like that since I got the patch with no localized file mods.

Just reapply the localization mod, it should overwrite any bad files you have.

Alternativly, you can use the Localization backups I posted for 1.4:

They will restore you BF2 files back to 1.4 default files. Then apply what ever mod you wish.
