"Run home to momma" button?

I just realized that the quit button in BF2 now says "Run home to momma" and "BFHQ" is all spelled out.

What's the deal with that?

Jalabad has no map description and screwed up capture point names.... so many strange yet, not game-breaking issues in 1.4....its like I got a 3rd beta of the patch.

You are absolutely correct! EA does not make the patches Dice Canada makes them.

That shouldn't be if you installed my mod. Sounds like you still have an old copy of enlgish_mappacks.utxt in your /English/ folder.

The map points and description for jalalabad showed up fine for me, last I checked. Are you sure you applied the mod correctly?


Also, just for everyone's information.

"The Key points to capture/defend:" thing you see in the map briefing on load...was also added by me. I mention this because someone in my own clan thought it was added by DICE in the last patch. I had to say " uhh, no it wasn't. I did that! :P" Just want to make sure people know it wasn't DICE.

Can anybody post an updated mappacks.txt (or whatever) with the Jalalabad info in it?

This wasnt your mod at all, it's been like that since I got the patch with no localized file mods.

Not only that patch but no BF2CC has put out 2 versions and now a beta after that patch
