16 Player Gulf of Oman is awsome in IO. I think it has a good amount of everything. My runner up would definitely be Kurba though, that ones nice aswell, but a bit slow sometimes.

I voted for Op. Clean Sweep....not because i enjoy it, but in fact because i heared it's unplayable in IO. Anyway i haven't played a single IO game since the patch came out, PoE2 ftw !

I love RTJ...the firefights in the plains between the USMC base and the city are amazing. And when the MEC breeches the USMC line of defence, and gets into their base, it doesn't feel like spawn camping or anything, on either side to me.

Songhua Stalemate.

It's got lots of boats, and so many different ways to get everywhere. Lots of places to hide, and a place where the word 'ambush' actually means something. It has no uncaps, so each side has the same advantages.

Not only that, because of the amount of water, there are places you have to be very careful about crossing, because you can't be revived if you die in water.

All-in-all... the most balanced and fun of all of the IO maps. It turned Songhua into Mashtuur without tanks.

Sharqi- it elevates the MEC chopper rape. Which is good for US, but bad for people like me that rape with it.

I have yet to played every map in IO mode, so I don't know really which one is the best. Will definitely try out those SF maps though.

attack maps [karkand, jalalabad, sharqi] are not so good in IO mode as they should be, just because there is no f.. way of breaking stalemate that the map itself creates. out of htese 3, the sharqi is the best, while jalabad is worst - usmc get RAPED by snipers and l85's and never captures any flag. no amount of teamwork can help them.

situation changes on SF maps, these were originaly designed with infantry fighting in mind, are more open, allowing more tactical freedom. ghost town, and all russian maps in general are good examples - surge, mass destruction [my definately IO favourite] are GREAT maps in IO mode.

other maps can be surprisingly satysfying - dalian plant, in spite of f.. long first flag run :) is then a great map, same as wake island. much more fun then normal wake, boats are useful, and airfield realy is vulnerable to attacks from the beaches :) with planes no boat ever reaches the island..

map that has the greatest potential is.. zatar wetlands 16 with 20 players. it is a fragfest.. real king of the hill game. INTENSE.

what makes IO so fun, is that whole teams are playing - unlike normal, where half TK for planes..

Without those annoying Jets, it would be a ground pounders dream. Plenty of cover and i love the landscape/scenery.

I just wonder how US Will get to the island ... swim sunny boy, swim!

There are boats in Infantry Only.

This makes Operation Clean Sweep, Songhua Stalemate, and Dragon Valley playable.
