Transport helicopters have open space behind the pilot. I capped a hovering Blackhawk pilot with my G36 in single-shot mode and dropped the whole chopper... I didnt shoot through the glass, i shot over the top of the pilots seat.

The attack copters are a different story though... NO idea how that would happen in those.

45 is the damage per round. Multiplying that by rounds per second (7.5) gives you 337.5 damage per second.

If every shot hits on full auto. This would have to be decreased a lot for accuracy/shooting in bursts.

the pkm 45 damage is for infantary only its probaly less agaisnt heli armor,

the m95 does 95 damage to infantary but 180 damage to heli,humvee's ect

if a m95 did 180 damage to infantary it would be 1 shot kill to the leg/foot :)

you can down a chopper in 2 and a bit clips with a m95,not sure how many pkm shots it would take.

ive killed a few chopper pilots in my time and have had t90,humvee ect pop up when ive only used m95,it a small server side bug i think.

When ive had PKM i was taking down low flying/hovering choppers --they were all smoky but PKM sure does his work against choopers and HMWW gunners

so do m95 does go thru window but when you most need it id dont works -->>hate that

Grab your PKM and shoot at a chopper.. roflll It certainly won't kill it in 3 seconds..

Just try it and you'll see you've made a mistake somewhere in your calculations..

There is that secrets of battlefield site that shows that certain places on vehicles will take off different amounts of HPs. Location of a hit would be something not taken into account in your equation.

A PKM can take out a chopper in about 3 seconds:

Damage = 45
Magazine size = 100
Rounds per Minute = 450

Rounds Per Second = 7.5
Damage Per Second = 45*7.5 = 337.5


Hitpoints of Apache = 875


875/337.5 = 2.59259....

Round up to 3 seconds accounting for overheating

I've pushed the HP's of choppers over the edge and gotten the kills with pistols.

helis have somethign called armor so u cant take it out so easily

m24 does 95 damage, but because of armor, it only does about half

and my guess is that it can penetrate glass since it can penetrate that metal fence easily in karkand
