having your own person stats is the way to go, how many kills u have and deaths and k:d ratios is all i want, no global ranks reward system or anything like that..

... and this is why these mods feel as if they've come straight from heaven.

I'd even prefer not to use any kind of persistent stats tracking. Teamwork tends to go down the drain when people are competing for quantifiable awesomeness.

Who cares if the community is crying out for it, they will learn the difference if you give them a chance to. Remember that a lot of the people here are new to gaming, and BF2 might be there first round at FPS online battles.

Besides, its not like your sales will go down, lol. THe MODs are free and given away after all.
