I just installed this great mod and had a few games on it, but i was just wondering if they were ever thinking of making it ranked. Does the Alternative Battle Ranking work with POE? If so, how can i get it up and running?

POE2 has its own ranking system but their yet to get it implemented, it totally different to bf2 point system and doesnt add to the Gps -

It should never have nothing to do with the BF2 ranked official. Too many noobs and idiots would flood this mod and ruin it for all.
I dont mind alternative stats too much as it seems to be for just the player's own enjoyment.Comment

As far as I know, PoE2 will never be "ranked", not even with their own ranking system. All the development team will add is "stat tracking" in future versions.Originally posted by Scinto

None of the MODs will be ranked by EA, none. It isnt an option, whether a MOD team wants it or not. Unless EA changes that, dont hold your breath though.
POE2 does not use ABR, and the history there is best left alone.
Ranks blow, and hurt your game play overall. Old school players will back me up on that one.Comment

ranks are what transformed the battlefield comunity into what we see today, a bunch of whining kids that ask the devs to nerf everything that kills them and whore to the maximum and try to get advantage of everything using macros and other cheats... all for the "good" of their ranks.Comment

If you saw some ranks above players then you may have been playing on one of the servers listed on this website http://www.bfstats.info/ . They have a seperate private ranking system.Comment

we are making our own system, we will not use ABR or anything similar.
it will be a site based stats system like bf2s is where people can visit for detailed information on their gameplay performance.Comment

I'd even prefer not to use any kind of persistent stats tracking. Teamwork tends to go down the drain when people are competing for quantifiable awesomeness.
