that does bring a good point up, the POE team are still in the early stages of this (v1.0) so theres still patches with new content coming. Mabye put some urban maps in there. Dont know how thats going to fit in with the storyline, so really the mod can only get better

I find that people who play PoE2 are more team-oriented and the lack of a ranking system brings out the top quality players. Since we've always run an unranked server, we found that if anything, PoE2 has dramatically increased server traffic. Let the kids go back to their scores and toys. Unranked mods are where it's at.

I just don't like the maps anymore tbh. They are all dark and you can't see anything. Except for the odd snow map. The hitboxes on the german aircraft are like the J10 whereas the hitboxes for the Ukraine ones are like the F35/MiG. Missiles don't work still.

I just can't wait for FH2, BF1918, BF:Pirates 2 where all that ****ing guidance crap that BF2 has failed at making work right is removed in turn for just simple bullets and shells. If BF2 actually made the modern weapon systems at least half right all these modern based mods would be fun. But it's getting tiring and so far vBF2 is the only one that can get it even remotley right. Beleive it or not.

I'm also sick of West/East crap. We know that BF2 made the USMC crapper than they actually should be. That doesn't mean in your mod you make it so the Western side = 100X better than the Eastern side. Jeez.

Thank you for doing this. I read that you guys were working on urban style maps, but since you had to model everything from scratch it would take time.

thats if you can get anywhere near them.. just like Vanilla planes/helis taken by all the wh0res, the hind has more than 2 seats but still they only use 2 seats

Zomg Flak in FH2 is gonna be amazing!

PoE is still a great mod, unfortunetely I get some lag on it, and the jet physics arent to my taste, so most of my time is still in vBF2. I am a plane and heli user.

a few problems are with it.
1- you can't play it on low setting or even middle on any server
2- no single player
3- the jets kinda of suck
4- so do chopters too

1-You can play on low/medium settings. The only issue is you can't have low on terrain on Gauridan for it causes a CTD (an issue that's been fixed). I play on medium/low and have absolutely no problems.
2-Single player takes a long time to develope. I would rather mods that are mainly multiplayer (AI and other SP mods the exception) spend their times developing that aspect. There is already a small group that plays mods, but even smaller that would play SP on a BF2 multiplayer mod.
3- Great problem. I would dispute this, but given the well-developed reason you constructed I don't think I could refute each point.
4- What's the use.

1.4 destroyed the infantry aspect to me. But as long as I don't play infantry maps it's still an awsome mod.

Oh ok that is why I can't play in low setting. I was trying to film on that map and it didn't work. Thanks for telling me that.
I still wish there was Single player, so I could use BR to film some stuff.
Yesh, the Jets and choters suck a bit.

certain settings causing CTD on certain maps...

there should be a list of know problems in the FAQ!
those maps keep emptying servers and then its downhill for the server for the rest of the night

The only map with an issue is Gaurdian, it requires terrain to be on at least medium.
