why did they add in a bunch of lag, and didnt fix any of the imbalances or anything like that. Is all they are capable of fixing bugs they created themselves within the huge period of 100 something days. Doesnt even look like the server browser has been fixed, the delays they put in for standing when prone in are easily worked around by tapping cntrl and you can still dolphin dive by tapping cntrl and z a bunch of times. Why did they only fix the CTD and didnt fix any of the things reported in beta testing? This is a serious question and not just some sort of rant.

There is a substantial amount of lag, similar to 1.3.
The damage has been done to the bf2 engine, it will never be as smooth as the original game. They permanently lowered performance and increased lad.Comment

Wasnt it like 60% of the people reported lag on that poll, and Im sure alot of the people have to high end of a system to notice or are just generally not good enough to notice any difference.Comment

A clean install and some general computer maintenence should fix the lag. If anything, I have noticed that my game is a lot smoother. Dice never said they were going to fix anything related to game imbalances. On the contrary, they very clearly stated in several posts that the patch was to fix the current crashing issues, and the rest would be optimizations. I would say they were successful with it. Im sure someone somewhere will end up finding something else to complain about...it never fails.Originally posted by Turnip
