In general the patch works ok for me. I re-installed BF2 and then 1.4 full....something i've noticed is that all my favs that were around 30-40 ping are now 100+.....ALL of them. To say that it's on my end is ignorant, something happend, either server side or patch wise.

Ive done everything to this game to optimize it, it just to slow compared to 1.12. EA basically ruined this game for me since Im not going to go out and buy another video card. Lag was the thing I was hoping they'd fix the most but like someone else said the damage has been done..

don't count on another one. At the rate 1.4 came out. They will be working on releasing mucho 2142 patches.

De-fragged the hard-drive yesterday, installed the incremental patch and no problems here, and my pc though fairly new is hardly top spec...

Had me some fun playing Road To JellyBabyDad last night...:p

runs better then 1.3 ,no ctd last night. had lots of fun. They could make this game run perfect and people would still shed tears over it..
