1.40: Best Squad not reporting at Medals screen

Notice that the best USMC squad was not reported. There were 9 squads of USMC during this round. Could this have been that all the people in the best squad left the server?

I don't know if it counts as a 1.4 bug, but I got kicked from a server for "excessive teamkilling" or something else. It was early in a round right after I killed a player on the other team. Perhaps an error with something concerning the teams?

I keep getting the

"THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION"

message right at the end of a round, when there is only one ticket left, right before the stats screens.

I've noticed this only on MoonGamers' server. Perhaps server setup dependent?

stange bug when commanding in v1.4:
suddenly, my 3d mini map is spinning like crazy and instead of the top view on the commander screen, I've got normal view at the first person... !
see attach. It's the first time I see that, after toggling many times between co screen and normal, 3d map stop spinning and I recover normal co view.

While commanding I noticed that my UAV trailer looked healthy but was destroyed. It turned into yellow when I zoomed in from total overview.
It happened once in 10h commanding since 1.4.

Might want to check to see if you have "Minimap follows My Direction" selected or Static Minimap" selected. Something like that.

Wow - this is patch update is annoying. Downloaded the full patch, uninstalled BF2 then reinstalled and patched it up - but here are some of my problems:

> Patchy/blocky graphics (running X1800XT 256MB) especially when in zoom mode (sometimes just a black screen)
> Runs like a dog - jerky movement and loads of stutters even on low ping servers (running a 2MB cable link and 4000+ AMD chip)
> ...worst of all, whole game crashes out after the end of a round...

Wot is going on? Sorry if some of these issues have been covered already in this thread, but this is driving me nuts!

At Road to Jalalabad if you throw a grenade to the fround direct to the wall wich is at the hotel (wall which you can see if you come from the Junkyard and behind it is the artilery too) the grenade goes through the wall

I tried rebooting my whole system (i.e. my computer) and uninstalling, transfering all files except BF2 to external drive, and then formatting the internal one, then re-installing everything. Took a day or two, but I got the "last ticket then connection freeze" to go away. I swear, though, NEVER, EVER try to do it. It's a pain in the butt to have to sit around and manage the transfer and boot screens.

By the way, I never lost the warranty, nor registration due to the file transfer, because I labeled the external drive the same as my internal.

Lol, don't try what I did or your're totally in for it, unless you can navigate countless screens. :P

Oh, and I checked the servers, it might be them, too. I ran a 1 player co-op and it did the "connection lost" freeze, even though I was hosting my own server!

Fix it, EA! Fix it!

I cannot get the game to load after installing the incremental off of Filecloud. I'm downloading the full patch off of EADownloader now but not sure if that is going to work. The only change I made to my EA files was deleting the movies for faster loading. Hasn't been a problem with other patches. Anyone else have this problem?

TV missile now goes through choppers/vehicule way more often.

You don't know to aim watch the Battlerecorder You'll see that you missed and I have a very long time in Chopper..

Hello, 1st post and in need of some help.. isnt that a suprise for an EA game.

dowloaded the 1.41 patch from EA.. it only took 7 hours.

ran the patch and it failed with the message "Unable to find battlefield 2 folder" with no option.

anyone else got this message?
