In my opinion, the Anti-Tank kit is horrible and useless. The SPAW is awefull for taking down tanks, it's reload time is a whole decade, and it takes about 3 shots, which is enough for the tank to take you down. I'd say Spec-Ops is much better even though the C4 should be plented from close range and is much higher risk, but at least it does it job.

AT isn't completely terrible, it just takes a little common sense... if you're sneaky enough its not too hard to take out the tank. Just get your shot off then get out the way. I can usually do OK against a tank just be quick and predict wheres he going to be/look.

Every kit has its advanteges? You failed to mention the assault class. LOL
Just goes to show assault sucks. Only time its playable is if you are in a good squad.

No, the assault kit is awesome, mainly because it has the grenade launcher. I've been using it lately and found out how easily it can rip out the insides of infantry.

GeoTop...AT does suck in infantry vs infantry, but I find myself alternating between AT and Medic , depending on the map and side.
Karkand 32 player as MEC? I go AT upfront to help team and slow down US armor. Karkand 32 as US ?, I go Medic because the MEC tank will take awhile to get online and by then I am somewhere else. Karkand 64 player? AT when I play both sides because too much armor and vehicles everywhere.
And so it goes from map to map. I have over 600 hours as AT and it doesnt do much for your stats, but it does provide a degree of satisfaction knowing you knocked out a tank that could have created untold causualties on your team.

wow, i certainly wouldnt call the AT class useless, <pedant>SRAW not SPAW</pedant>

its like anything, its what you are used to, i love my p90 at close quarters, and i use the SRAW/ERYX with great effect at long/med/short range on soldiers as well as vehicular targets, depends on where you place the shots, nicely aimed at the tracks and you are good to go.

i used to be a sniper but think AT is much more versatile than ppl who arent fluent with that kit give credit for.

I think medic is a great kit,because they recieve heal/revive points...And i dont think that there should be some problem in finding someone wounded or neutralized in ranked server...:))...And really i like if i call for a medic and he really comes and heals me...

You have over 600h as AT?!?! I :salute: you, good sir. AT is one of my two favourite kits as well (Assault being the other one...it's a wonder I have any global score at all ) and it's nice to see fellow AT junkies who take pride in their job.

And GeoTop, if you're sneaky enough to be able to C4 an enemy vehicle with consistancy, then being AT should be a walk in the park for you. With C4 if he turns around and sees you you're toast, but with AT you can shoot from a distance then hide. Pop back out, fire, and hide again. C4ing vehicles on most maps can be a chore, which is why AT is the perfect kit for the job.

I go assault because I like extra armour and in my opinion the G3 is a solid decent weapon. Medic whoring only comes into question on Karkand I think.

I mean come on, medics can revive and heal themselves, and they have an excellent M4 and also a pretty good unlock.
I had about 40 hours on Spec Ops before trying out the medic kit, and now I'm not going back.
Because :
1 : With Medic I get more kills because the M4 3 shot fire is awesome, I take down any enemy from low-medium range without any problems, unlike with the Spec Ops kit.
2 : With Medic I heal myself and revive others, which gives me a big advantage, also I noticed how incredibly high scores I get with Medic.
What's your opinion on this?

Pretty useless against a column of tanks and APC's though.

Anti-Tank FTW! What you don't get close-up with the DAO, you can snipe at a distance with the rocket.

Medic is Bf2 on easy mode.
99% of the noobers pick medic for the extra help. Thats why you see medics pilot tanks and other vehicles cause if you gotta bail..its best to have god mode turned on.
99% of the ubah leet belly bouncers will be medic, cause since these people need to exploit every aspect of this game they also need to exploit the fact that medics are over powered..never see a belly dancing Spec Ops guy...

they get 2 of the best guns in the game (AK-101 and G36E), they had an equal foot when limited to Ak and L85..but for some reason EA thought to give them a more godly gun.
Flash bangs are just trouble..most people end up blinding there team mates just to blind one guy.
Best set-up for Assualt imo is AK with nade laucher.

If your comparing Medic to Support due to the fact that Support gets unlimited ammo..what you mean to say is "Support gets unlimited nades, so instead of being a vagina with insta heals..you can be a vagina spamming nades"

Every class has a bonus..AT rockets that sometimes take 2 shots to kill a car..Engy mines that are easy to see..Support, only good for Kark, unless your spamming nades..Assualt, medics with out heals..Spec Ops, got screwed once c4 throwing was nerfed, now walk up to a tank (LOLOLOLOL) place c4 run away and pray that when you go to detonate it doesnt switch back to c4..

All in All medic needs an extreme nerf to there weapons to make up for there support role, as it stand they are the 2 most powerful in both catagories..

Yeah right, cuz nerfs have been SO succesful up until now. Medics have no armour, so you can kill them easily.

1-on-1, the medic will lose every time to a person with the same skill in the assault class. And as I pointed out, you can be the best medic in the world, but it isn't going to help you against a column of armour. But congratulations on turning a thread on which class you like in to a whinge session on the medic class. See how well you fare on a map like Oman as a medic.

Medics don't get M4s, that's Spec Ops. Medics get M16s (the same default weapons as the assault class, which is in and of itself a problem).

And yes, medics are overpowered. They need SMGs instead of ARs and they'd be put back in moderation. As it stands right now they all but render the assault class useless.
