Medic : Best class in BF2?

I mean come on, medics can revive and heal themselves, and they have an excellent M4 and also a pretty good unlock.
I had about 40 hours on Spec Ops before trying out the medic kit, and now I'm not going back.
Because :
1 : With Medic I get more kills because the M4 3 shot fire is awesome, I take down any enemy from low-medium range without any problems, unlike with the Spec Ops kit.
2 : With Medic I heal myself and revive others, which gives me a big advantage, also I noticed how incredibly high scores I get with Medic.
What's your opinion on this?

I say give one point for reviving and no points for healing, everyone is whoring the medic kit, i do it too because of the G36 but its nice being able to heal your self too tho

Medics are wonderful point makers... The great thing about medics, however, is the ability to revive yourself so that you last long in battle. Plus they have some really neat and powerful guns.

Medics don't get M4s, that's Spec Ops. Medics get M16s (the same default weapons as the assault class, which is in and of itself a problem).

And yes, medics are overpowered. They need SMGs instead of ARs and they'd be put back in moderation. As it stands right now they all but render the assault class useless.

Every kit has its advantages. If you are using the Support Kits you basically have unlimited ammo. Spec Ops can take out assets and you can use the C4 in other ways against the enemy. Engineer Kit is like the Spec Ops of using its mines but yet the repairs on tanks and vehicles is very useful and has its advantages. Anti-Tank kit only purpse is to take out tanks and vehicles.
And finally the Medic kits is basically what you have already stated.

In my opinion, both support and medic have the best advantage. But if you want more points be medic.

yeah, the Medic kit is like a super-class if you know how to use it to full potential; excellent unlock weapons L85A1 and the G36E; self-heal + revive abilities make it the stat-generation kit of choice.

Yep, Medic class is the best on the ground... lots of points, decent weapon selection and self-healing.
I play mostly for the self-heal aspect of the kit, so I wouldnt mind if the revive and heal points were actually eliminated. The fact a medic is A) keeping a team mate healthy (medic packs) and B) saving the team from losing tickets (revive) should be enough to keep a lot of Medics in the field.

Just goes to show assault sucks. Only time its playable is if you are in a good squad.

In my opinion, the Anti-Tank kit is horrible and useless. The SPAW is awefull for taking down tanks, it's reload time is a whole decade, and it takes about 3 shots, which is enough for the tank to take you down. I'd say Spec-Ops is much better even though the C4 should be plented from close range and is much higher risk, but at least it does it job.

great for point whoring. medic and support are my favorite kits because they have the coolest weapons. the ability to rack up points is just icing on the cake.

I dunno, the Assualt class w/ the F2000 unlock is pretty effective against enemy infantry.

Granted, it's not my fav kit to play, but I don't think it sucks by any means.

the assualt class has the m16 as well (its not an M4) and ur better off with the g36c

i still love the spec ops as i play it alot more often and it might be weaker, but i can still kill more ppl with it

It is very effective, but you can't get any teamwork points. Except for kill damage and flag points. Which all kits can get.
