i started downloading it said wait 50 min... i did then when it was 1 minute left it turned to 68 minutes!!!

This WAS a limited open beta. After giving out so many keys it may have already been closed.

I know in the first 30 minutes of being open the downloads on fileplanet jumped up for the new Beta client by 60 thousand.

That 1 minute you guys seem to be getting must be an error.
I started from 51, jumped to 61 and I'm down to 27 min with que number 569/895

The beta is now CLOSED so no more cd keys

If your downloading it..... with no cd key you are wasting your time...

I wish they would just give out cd keys to all those who want it no fair :cry:

I just got an email from IGN saying there's a new beta build. I suppose this is the one they are talking about.

"This new version includes many fixes for stability, functionality and balance as well as performance enhancements"

Hopefully it will play better than the earlier version because I wasn't impressed at all.

I'll have to try it when I get home.

No, that was just never updated. There was a limited time OFFER! 30 mins ago. To sign up again, But it is NOW CLOSED!

new 2142 BLOWS way more things wrong with it than the 1st beta. WOW the round never ends due to titans blowingup and respawning with full armor.
