Ways to improve your K/D ratio: Exclusively use the most powerful vehicles in game and always bail out of it when it goes to about 1/3 health. This translates into gameplay like this: Regardless of the need of your teammates, you bail to save yourself from death. TK'ing to get vehicles. Always playing it "safe" - taking fewer chance and sticking with what works. Focus on kills over flags. Etc. etc.
I agree with this to some extent. I am a player who thoroughly enjoys investigating my stats but I don't sacrifice my desire for the team win to see my stats go up. I don't play for e-bling but I do enjoy analysing stats such as k/d ratio's, accuracies, shots fired etc... Call me an exception to the norm but that probably has something to do with being in my 30's and not a kid who is all about "me, myself and I."

As I posted on POE's site in the Suggestions Area, I would like to see the stats broken out more correctly than what is currently done within BF2. That being, don't count sniper kills while I am flying a jet as a sniper for an example. Your not a sniper, your a pilot. The stats should only accumulate towards jet stats not the kit stats. Kit stats should only accumulate when you are actually playing as your kit.

Being that BF2 lumps the kit stats with the vehicles, is the root cause and major flaw of the medals/awards and player mentality within BF2. This is the main reason I take little to no value in people obtaining gold badges and the what not.

Point collection in its current fashion drives people to teamkill for vehicles because they are working for their gold in what ever. How may players have actually 'achieved' their e-bling by being their kit? Chances are you/me got them by driving/flying some sort of vehicle. If not completely, then at least achieved some if not most of the requirements this way.

If the stats were obtained differently, it may promote more team play or at the very least, reduce the teamkilling that goes on for vehicles.

We had initially intended to release this with our first release, but we didnt feel it was completely ready yet, so are working out the last details then it will be introduced.
Then what does the POE Rank Position mean as shown on the graphic?

Note: I did not read through every single post so it may have been explained in that thread. However, this was the first thing I noticed.

And here we go, a global competition scale, pretty much a standard stat tracker. If this will be implemented, watch closely as peoples attitude starts to change.

Its really no different than the stats that we had/have for 1942 and BFV.

Are you kidding me? This isnt about whining! This is about preserving the teamplay by keeping peoples focus on the TEAM, rather than STATS.

Say the word "Stats" and half the gamers reaches for thier Bromo (Anti nausea) and the other half get sort of panting in anticipation.

I would prefer the weapons, kits and vehicles "Maxed" out with the best we can do with the technology today. Let the battles sort out the whiners.

Making war is about oppertunity. Lying in wait for a few moments to nail that chopper from below with a stinger it thought was empty a moment ago is such an oppertunity.

The ones who have the most luck are the victors.

This POE mod was what BF2 vanilla should have been, I look forward to further enhancements and or fixes to improve the first release to make it really good.

If you must have stats of some kind then collect the numbers and ship it off game to a website where it can be viewed by anyone. But posting the stats at the end of each round for all to see tends to make bullies out of those who wish to teamkill, elbow others and otherwise destroy the team to further thier own ambition to be in the top 3.

Hey I like this! But Id prefer the stats to be completely personal. That is, you go to the site, insert your game user ID and that kind of information and see it for yourself. No point-screen after the round and no public ladder build up.

I just had a game of BF2142 Beta and Ive made up my mind that POE2 will be my game, and I wouldnt want it to be played by players with the same attitude as BF2.

You don't know how much this means to me and my friends of PoE2 at my community. This is a really good call, IMO, it will further promote teamplay and reduce "smacktard" behavior.

I have a little suggestion about supply drop that can further promote teamwork. I would like the PoE2 team to consider giving the CO the ability to air drop "kits", and include the AA kit to be air dropped.

Thanks for all your hard work and consideration.
