I still like BF2 better than POE2. I don't really like the atmosphere of the POE2 maps.

the grass in the game actually hides you!

i love that...i just lay in the grass waiting for an enemy to walk by and i just light them up.

I personally would of paid £30 for POE2 its that dam good. VBF2 is good don't get me wrong about that but SF honestly was a waste of time except for the unlocks Euroforce is terrible and after them two i didn't buy Armoured fury so i don't know what I'm missing there. But POE2 is like playing a new game You've got your maps that are infantry only, maps that are all vehicles nearly enough for everyone definitely missing from VBF2. Honestly though like someone else has already posted POE2 is the way BF2 should of been from the beginning. The people that worked on this mod i wouldn't be surprised if they actually get jobs in the gaming industry after this its that good.

My external opinion.

Those that said BF2 is better:

a) prefer stats (lol)
b) prefer (lets face it) exploiting
c) closed minded to the fact that a mod could be better than the original game.
d) are far too ingrained with their "skills" at vanilla that getting used to new tactics scares and intimidates them.

POE is an awesome mod. Its not really a mod - It is a fully well rounded game. To be played without vanilla in mind. For something that runs as well as it does with all the bells and whistles going (i don't think too many appreciate the fact that it runs so well with the view distance cranked up on the vegetation - ambushes anyone?) I can't see why any of the true gamers would have any qualms with POE2. Oh wait.... none of them do

Are you an idiot, I prefer BF2 yet I never play for points, ranks, trinkets, etc and I never have. I have never exploited. I have played every mod ever released for a BF series game including POE1 which I was involved in competively. I have as much skill at POE2 as I do with BF2 or any other game I decide to play. Scared and intimidated by a video game?? YOu must have one hell of a sad life for that to even enter your miniscule brain.

Perhaps its more that your a bandwagon puppet, your on the EA haters bandwagon and this is your escape from a game you cant handle. Maybe your system sucks and you get crashes and such, many of us dont though and think BF2 is a great game with a lot of life left. If there were no points in BF2 then what would be a good excuse for not liking POE2, how would you disparage all those 1000's of players who play BF2 just for the fun and intensity of it?

Look its a matter of preference and calling people names or assuming that everyone who sticks with BF2 is a dishonest or point hungry player is just assinine. Grow the f**k up and realize that everyone who doesnt agree with your opinion is not somehow less than you. You like POE2 more? Then go fuc*in play and dont pass judgement on those who don't. I won't think any less or any more of you if you do.

I'll stick it to your base in POE2 if it gives me a tactical advantage. I'll do it for the same reasons I would do it in BF2, because it can be a valid tactic that may help my team win.

for me is POE 2 all the way now, these are the reasons:

map design - the maps are so well done that even with 32players on 64 player maps you allways find action everywhere + they look good + loads of buildings to enter.

variaty of vehicles and ammo u can use - i love to use the heap on infantery and see them flying away.

artillary system - its friggin fun to use and its what it should have allways been in bf2 (maybe a little too powerfull against tanks)

not having the US army - if i see another M1A2 tank or another M16 my head will explode.

POE wipes the floor with BF 2 you can keep all ur stat whores and points in BF 2 cos this game is for proper gamers not headless chickens trying to get the next badge or ribbon that means jack ****.

I would have to say BF2 for me, recently I purchased AF and that has got me hooked more so than POE2.

People who worry about stats are noobs, always spawn camping for points and wont work as a team to win a round. So I prefer POE2...

P.S. There is some ranked servers in POE2...who knows whats going on...

there not ranked they just think stupid people will listen to that and come.
