I will leave a server before I change sides. Some of my best games are ones I lost. If I have a completely inept team, I'll leave. Changing teams isn't any fun since you already know your team couldn't fight it's way out of a wet paper bag. I of course will make the required attempts to make something happen: Form a squad, invite people to join. You can sometimes make dramatic come backs late in a game if you suddenly get a few people working together. How many times have you seen the USMC getting thier butt's kicked on Wake only to get one good unit on land and they end up winning the round by capping out all the flags, even though the Chinese had a huge ticket lead?

Everybody loves an underdog.

Since they changed the reqs for WC ribbon, there is no real incentive to be on a winning side......

I am the one on the loser side Helping out and making those small battles that dont count. into a battle that does count. I am the warrior that fights, and fights hard for my objective. I work as a team not with a team. (somthing like that0) I am the guy driving the hummvee.

Its really painful to look at the USMC transport chopper flying in low and getting shot down every single time. The only thing to do in a Wake round where the US just cannot land is to try to take the chopper up high and even better, become an SL and get ppl to parachute to the flags. But that's hard to do with everyone on deck trying to get into the transporter and hoping that their ride will be the lucky one.
Another way would be to fly near the map edge, but any half-decent commander will surely direct the planes to that location.

I usually play with 1 or 2 of my best friends, we are the winning side.

9/10 times ill stay and do what i can to win. if the teams are that messed up ill just go to a different server. no need to make things worse for my poor team.

i feel that switching sides at the end is only fooling yourself. i get a lot of satisfaction from a win. especialy a hard fought, close scoring round. The defeats only motivate me to do better. if i am in a team that is not playing/trying i would be more likley to leave the server and find another, rather than change sides.
