Nobody hates the game here, but there are parts of the game they hate. if they hated the game they wouldnt be here.

There is a blood mod that you can dl if you really need the gore.

My feelings on BF2 are a bit different. All of the bug issues aside, BF2 turned out to be NOT what I was led to believe it would be. I bought it because EA/DICE and the rest of the world touted BF2 as being DC2! Well, it isn't.

I am disappointed in the small map areas and the limited view distance. Aircraft, armor and snipers have all been redacted to a role well below what they had in DC. I just think that the BF2 engine was made with pretty graphics in mind first and enhanced gameplay last. BF2 should have kept the gameplay of DC first and then added the eye candy last.

Aside from that, I have enjoyed every minute I have played BF2. I will continue to play it as well as the mods for it for some time to come.
