What Is Wrong With BF2???

I recently picked up BF2, at first I had doubts about purchasing this game only because I played BF1942 and Vietnam and was complete crap. :laugh:

BF2 is an unbeleavabley excellent game. I love the ranking structure and stat system BF2 has, its your "drive" your "motovation: to get to the next rank, to unlock guns and start owning. The ranking system and how excellent of a game BF2 is keeps you going and want to play more and more.

Squads are awsome when you get the right people in a squad and everyone helps one another complete the same objective. Ya you get some noobs rolling around in tanks and running around, youll get that in every online game. At first I was a noob, I came from R6 Raven Shield, and CS:S. At first I was crashing helpicoters and jets haha I think we all have. (I am still a rookie) But you get used to it, and how the game play works.

I have never ever had an issue with BF2. So, what is wrong with BF2? I been reading alot of post at work when I am not playing BF2 Someone please eplain to me what is wrong with BF2 because I obvisouly cant see what everyone is gryping about.

I do see one thing wrong though, When someone gets shot they puff out a lil cloud of smoke, wheres the blood?? Last time I saw someone get shot they puff out blood not smoke, and some blood on the ground and on the wall "realality" Is there a blood mod? or someway of turning on the blood?

Just play a little bit more. Experience the crashed servers, CTD when clicking on "Join Game", cartillery, etc..

If no errors, bugs, or issues are occuring with your game, then there is nothing wrong with BF2. However, I have enountered numerous problems. First of all with the new 1.3 patch sometimes I randomly get the connection problem on my screen and then I have to restart the server. Also, sometimes my game just crashes randomly to dekstop, also I have experienced the red tag bug numerous times. You may not see anything wrong with the game, but others do. So there may not be universal issues.

In my opinion, there isn't much wrong with the game, besides the crashing of the game occasionally, that pisses me off. Other than that, bunnyhoppers aren't fun either.

Indeed man, f$%k the bugs, learn to live with it. Sometimes they are annoying, so what? I totally agree with you!! Also on the bloodpart, gimme red walls,piecies of brain and limps all over the place!!!

The game is pissing me off! Yet I love playing BF2.

Today 1CTD 2server crashes and several there is a problem with your connection........................................ .... connection lost... messages.

It's getting on my nerves!

What is wrong with bf2?

1. Server crashes
2. Crashing to desktop when you hit join game
3. hit detection is a bit messed up (knife him in stomach and nothing happens)
4. Aircraft HIGHLY imbalanced
5. Red tag bug
6. Eryx going through tank
7. blackhawk guns ( would rather throw tatties at the enemy from the blackhawk, more chance of killing someone
8. tk punish system
9. cartilery
10. hotel/palace glitch where you can be invinsible inside buildings
11. BUNNY HOPPERS (HA HA 1.4 will bugger you up now!!)
12. repair points, spend all day reparing and get 1 point

Im sure there is more but there are the things that are wrong with bf2

Dont get me wrong i enjoy playing bf2. But these are (in my opinion) the main problems with bf2 :) :cry:

^^ tk punish system isnt that bad anymore since u still lose points even if u r forgiven

blackhawk guns were too powerful and its now matched to the other transport heli guns so theyre even


the only problems i have with the game is 1) performance issues...i never get more than 30fps but thats my own fault
2)stability issues: server crashes more often than the previous patch
3)hackers...i hate how its hard to detect them because theres no spectator mode

Lets see

The players

-They camp for vehicles all round long.
-They teamkill for vehicles all round long.
-They spawncamp with vehicles all round long (point is to cap the flag youknow?)

-They have tunnelvision, ignore flags being taken behind them.
-They enjoy hurling themselves under the wheels/tracks of friendly vehicles so they can instapunish.
-They are tactically challanged, always taking the way of most resistance (never heard of flanking)

The game:

-Vehicles respawn too quickly.
-Some helicopters are overpowered.
-Jets are overpowered compared to -everything-
-Surface to air missles still suck.
-Hitboxes are messed up.
-Making missles sail trough tanks.
-and encouraging tards to pronejump.
-constant server crashes.
-"there is a problem with your connection"

If the game didn't crash was less laggy and had less bugs and was good balanced. It would be a good game but in the status it's now in it's not that good

I love Dolphin Divers and Bunnyhoppers they are a great training on aiming in close combat and far away.. :)

i tend to aim for the virtual tummy/crotch area it either ends up being their legs or their heads :)

I don't agree about the "play more and you'll learn to hate it". I have 400+ hours and yes there are a few connection problems and a wondering CTD, but those don't bother me that much. I guess I have a good PC/software karma, since I rarely have any problems (excluding the inevitable PC ageing).

doesnt bother me in the slightest i dont have enough time to play much during the week and i dont personally spend all the free time i have playing bf2, i have 2142 to test & warhammer beta, and maybe a few old classics to take up my time it just depends on my mood :)
