Was it or was it not you who posted the story about EA dropping bf2 support at EAUK?

No it wasn't. I have a disagreement with 2 of the multiplay admins hence my post once i heard ea uk #14 had been discontinued.

All that means is the agreement between them and EA has ended...the same way contracts come to an end.

Ok, I went back and checked again. There are 10 EA UK BF2 Multiplay servers running ATM. So they haven't closed down all of them. Anyone know how many there were to start with?
One plausible reason for this could well be a decrease in a number of players. No reason to keep up 20 servers when the peak load is only 10. (This is purely my hypothetical argument and not based on facts :) )

It might still be true, or part true. Until an ea admin says it's crap it might be true. I look at that forum often and there's always an admin on there in the daytime because for some reason myg0t attacks it all the time.

Once again, The lack of updated information from EA allows these posts to to spread through the community like wildfire. If there is no link to the source, And it hasent come from an EA mod, Then frankly i don't belive. Who knows, In 48 hours we might all be playing 1.4, I'm sceptical but it is a possibility,

EA treating it's customers like mushrooms once again.
