You have to ask yourself why some group can make a good mod for bf2 for free but Dice canada getting payed fail 10 times to make a good bf2 patch. MODS WILL OWN BF2.

is POE a good mod???? i've never heard of it before... i think i will have to download it and see what it has to offer... is the file not that big everything i try downloading is only like 50 mb max... which one is it to download the mod?

It is one of the best mods around. Its free and its a "full" mod (meaning new vehicles, weapons, skin, maps etc..), It is bascially a new free game!

All the kits are retooled (ie. support no longer have grenades and AT can set mines), and they add a new kit in which is AA. A totally reworked arti system which requires coordination and teamwork. I think CO only get supply drop, thats it (not UAV no Scanner). If you like tactics and teamwork this will be a much better game than BF2 or from the looks of the "beta", BF2142 too.

Our whole community is very excited about this and already have a deidicated server setup for the launch on Saturday.

Nope, you download the .torrent file with your internet browser, then open that file with a program like Bitcomet.

I am in the same boat as the other guy, I've never used a torrent before and this looks like a good time to start. I just installed Azureus, but can't seem to figure out how to get the download started.

I went to the link on POE's website, which takes you to hypernia, and I download the zip file. I am not sure what to do after I unzip it, as I don't see an .exe. Sorry if this seems so elementry for most....

I explained it earlier..

You unzip the file, take the .torrent and open it with Zureus, it should show itself from there.

Now remember this is not what you are used to, downloads will start slow, then speed up.

I can tell you that whoever says they have the password does not. The password is not guessable. But nice try.

As for the game, we (Team Dynamic) have been pubbing it all afternoon and we are all in agreement that it is incredible. Zero complaints as of yet. I hope you guys are downloading the files from a torrent.

See you tomorrow. They release the password at noon pacific time I think.
