POE launches on Saturday!!

Just incase you guys are unaware of the impending release of the POE mod for bf2 I am here to tell you.

It gets a full release on saturday (8/26). We (as well as other clans) got to get a release last night from the creators to try it out. These guys have added everything that should have been in EA's original release. The weapon accuracy has been great increased so there is little deviation in the bullets when fired. There are 13 brand new maps. Lots of new vehicles. And oh yeah, they implemented a blood splatter effect.

The mod runs smoother than bf2. How you say? I have no idea except these guys have been working on this mod since before bf2 was even out. Don't listen to what i have to say about this mod. Wake up tomorrow and get the release and enjoy yourselves.

Also, Team Dynamic will be playing against Fadeight tonight (8/25) in a POE scrim. This will be shoutcasted by the always enjoyable Narco from FragTV. Here is the link:

Im guna ask this here to avoid making a new thread.

Will this mod (ive never downloaded a mod for Battlefield) interfere with my normal BF2 game. In other words: will i have to uninstall POE to play BF2 again, or is it all completly seperate?

No, you can still play bf2 just fine. :)

You don't have anything to worry about. when you install the mod it will put a icon on your desktop that says "PoE". just click on it to join a poe server, click on your regular bf2 icon to play bf2. Simple.

Sorry mate but we must respect the POE2 team for making this uber mod so you have to wait until tomorrow :) . (Damn, what am I doing here at the forum? I should be testing my POE2 :p )

dude i can not wait for the password to start playing.
i will be setting up my server tonite to have this mod ready for gamers.

is POE a good mod???? i've never heard of it before... i think i will have to download it and see what it has to offer... is the file not that big everything i try downloading is only like 50 mb max... which one is it to download the mod?

dont know anything about BF2 mods but will the 1.4 patch(when it gets released) cause any probs with the mod? like install the patch before or after the mod etc?

As with every patch, usually it affects the mods too...most mod creators are very "johnny on the spot" with an update if and when 1.4 comes out.

POE2 is going to rock .
