Re: My views on how USMC can win Wake Island

I like to take the attack helicopter, and fly obscenely low to the water.

Once I'm safely on the ground, I make a squad and tell people to join it and use me as a spawn point while I cap flags.

If they listen? We win. If they don't? Well... theres at least a chance if I cap the flag by my lonesome self.

Being a Pub N00b whos playing with Pub N00bs definitally helps since the enemy's Attack Helicopter is often run by Pub N00bs, which only increases my chances of surviving the trip. I rarely worry about the J-10 when I'm flying that low, unless they're trying to ram me. Not to many J-10's are willing to sacrifice their kill streak just to save the game, when they could be bombing the carrier.

Noobs are boobs... let them learn in the trial by fire like we all did!

Kill me once... shame on me. Kill me twice... not likely!

The trick to most maps is letting the right players in the powerful vehicles. Too often, a team will lose at the expense of someone's "fun".

I don't mind being USMC on Wake... but please, don't ground your pilots.

Another thing I've noticed is that I usually end up capping a flag alone: how is it that I can do this but a squad of players always gets killed?

lol because the commander uses artillary on them (bigger target) and saves cartillary for you .

The best way to do it is fast and hard, at beginning of the game you load up a BH and fly very high and bail over the airfield, it will be capped quickly then divide forces and take remaining bases, enemy will still be camping island points before they notice they are under heavy attack.

BH, 400+ feet, bail at beach and hide in bunker. Works 90% of the time. I'm sick of seeing fully loaded BH's flying at low altitude only to get blown to crap moments later.
