How about all you server owners switch over to POE2 servers and forget paying for those EA ranked servers?

I just put a 24 player POE2 server up this morning.

because people pay for the sever for more then 1 day at a time some people have 3-6 month contracts, and yes it is a wast of money but not a you can really do about it apart from not renewing you subscription once it has ended.

If you leased a car and it was defective would you still continue to pay for it? If the dealer couldnt fix it you would take it back.

BF2 will eventually get a decent patch, but the mods are what going to make it last.

What good are Mods when you still have server crashes. As for paying for a ranked server, waste of money. Your paying money just to have unlocks and medals. Time has come for Ea to make more money on other projects not patch previous games.

To all those people who are whining and moaning over server costs ... Here's a novel idea. STOP PAYING MONEY FOR A PRODUCT YOU ONLY COMPLAIN ABOUT. Seriously guys, move on to a different game. Play on OTHER peoples' ranked servers, then laugh about how they're wasting their money and you are not. Honestly, nobody is FORCING you to shell out the money for this. It's something you want, not something you need. So why keep supporting EA with your dollars if you just end up complaining about it? Just STOP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY.

bf1942 went all the way up to 1.61 so bf2 has a ways to go before it received the amount of patches 1942 received.. I believe in the end they'll get it right but look at all the hardware configs there are now even compared to 2 years ago..There's gotta be some slack cut for them jesus . IT plays fine on 5000 machines but there's 500 that are flubbed.. Still pretty decent in my opiinion.. The game play is what keeps people playing.. there just isn't another game out there of it's kind .. everything else is vanilla compared to bf2 even if it does have it's issues..
