The 1.4 patch will not be out tomorrow, today, or any time in the next few days.

We don't have a fixed release date for the patch right now, but as soon as we do we'll let you know.

To be honest, I cant believe how sad some people are.

It is only a patch...fair enough 1.3 was buggy, and still is. but its playable.

yes some people sit here waiting for the patch, and make countless "upset" posts.

You must have socially deprived lifes, go to the pub. I do 5 or 6 nights a week, go clubbing, go play football etc.

It's only a game!

You know, you COULD do that if the following wouldn't happen:

-Map loaded, press Join Server, crash.
-Load the game up again, join server, map loaded, crash.
-Load up the game, join server, rank is gone and all your unlocks are gone.
-Load up the game again, ma loaded, join, the wholes system freezes.
-Reboot, load the game, join server, few minutes in, server crashes.

Certainly you must not run a BF2 server that now for the last 3 months flips on its back more often then a hoe in a red light district.

Before 1.3 this crashing never happened to our server.

Yes 1.3 is 3 months old today. Not so happy birthday 1.3

umm do you really think 1.4 isn't going to have its own set of bugs ? because if you do your living in a fantasy land my friend where the roads are paved in ice cream and the street lights are lolipops 1.4 will be much worse then 1.3 as far as stacking bugs

p.s. I'm completely sick of this game till IO mode comes out so Im not playing anything but PR untill such time

Just yesterday I was on this server, it crashed 3 (or 4, can't remember now) times in a row! Crashed, joined the server again, 3 minutes later it crashed again, join back in, a minute later it crashed again! 3 or 4 times in a row, within minutes!

How annoying is that?

Just yesterday I was on this server, it crashed 3 (or 4, can't remember now) times in a row! Crashed, joined the server again, 3 minutes later it crashed again, join back in, a minute later it crashed again! 3 or 4 times in a row, within minutes!

How annoying is that?

Once it crashes the first time you shouldn't go back to that server but look for one that's more stable. 64-players go down a lot faster than 16/32 IMO.

It really is facinating that when the 1.3 patch was released everyone was jumping up and down crying saying "Doesn't EA test anything before release ?"

Now they are trying to test the thing so it doesn't blow up in everyones face, so let 'em.

I have hardly played all month, myself, because of the CTD and freezing issues, which sux btw, but I would rather see a stable patch rather than another debacle.
