No, there is no way in the world that it was ready then. It would mean that the beta stages were fakes and if you even consider that that was the case then you should maybe go and take a relaxing holiday somewhere.

I do not doubt this for one second! Sure, it maybe a advance log, but on what>? What they ****ING knew was freaking going to screw us! This company has NO, NONE, ABSOLUTELY ZIP, trust anymore!

I have no doubt this is just another one of the "secrets" behind the ruined game we call BF2~!

In the begining, they screwed up so bad, they had to lie, and lie on that lie, and then lie again to cover the previous 2 lies to make us all take a peice of the cake.....they are nothing more than deceptive, rude, and down right low!

You who do not believe are just the nieve individuals EA/DICE loves with all their heart!!!! They messed up, they messed up big, and they DO NOT want you to know it-! They can not give a straight answer to ANYTHING, WHERE, WHEN, HOW//////PERIOD, they NEVER HAVE~!

This is a dev team who knows diddly on how to do anything right, wrong, 1/2 way, and let alone done by ANY means~! They keep you in the dark, they say crap that is not true, the y promise things that they can not promise, and we all have seen this time and time and time again, but yet most still trust there will be a day when this game will be fixed!!!!! But yet the game was never, never ever what it was to be to begin with from DAY ONE!!!!!!!

Are ytou so blind that you can not see, the people behind all of everything to do with BF2 have screwed stuff up so badley, that they can not even promise a regular, playable release of the next game on this engine.....to us known as BF2142, without a BETA test done by WHOEVER subscribes to the freakin' site????? HELLLO people....????

This is the biggest joke of a professional company as I have had the displeasure to be involved with~~~~!!!!!!

But like may of you, I have paid my does, I have bought the boosters and expansions....I have had that tiny bit of hope that someone of this class and professionalism would not take its cosumers for a ride......I too fell into the trap, the deceptive, lying, BS well now call BF2!~~~~!!!!

This is no joke! They are, and will be, for as long as we play this game we so honorably placed our cash on the table for, the gods of the BF2 kingdom, of which 97% of us still hope they at least make 50% of this right, worthy, and playable to the public to which they OWE so so so much for the dinner they EAT at their kitchen tables as we speak~~~!!!!

It's a beta (actually an alpha IMO). It's supposed to be full of bugs.

Only problem with that is the games release is October. That means it has to go gold at the start of October. We are now at the end of August. Do you really think DICE can go from alpha to finished "bug-free" product in one month??

Dude they are hiring coders right out of college, of course its going to be crappy. The only thing we can do is pray that its not to crappy; or that they have 1 guy who knows what they are doing, and who can make the rest dance.

Good question and judging by the way the beta testing has been going I'd say that they may pull it off.

We started testing last Thursday and received an update about 2 days later if I remember correctly. And there's been more since then. It's much more pro-active than a product like BF2 which is already gone gold.

LET THEM GET 1.4 RIGHT. I'm so sick of everyone b!thcing about when the 1.4 is coming out or conspiricy theories going on at ea.

This is it folks. Once we get 1.4 there probably wont be any more patches for this game, and that is fine by me, so lets let them get this patch working right. It will be released when it's fixed.

For me i will buy 2142 but will be playing bf2 for along time. There are so many mods coming out for bf2 and hopefully the 1.4 works the way it's supposed to.

A readme is one thing, the patch is another.
The readme file was ready then, but the patch obviously wasn't.
They had very clear stated what needed to be done, but couldn't do it faster.

Wouldn't you think it be the most logical to make a readme after the patch was done? I mean, it contains the changes that have been made...not what changes we are going to, or thinking about doing maybe.
