    I would do that but I get a message saying I have to disable Kernal Debugging and I don't know what that does so I left it alone.

        I have a separate hard drive dedicated to backups of games and DVDs. That way I only take the 200GB drive with me instead of a buttload of discs.
        As far as leaving a computer on: it's much like a lightbulb. When do lightbulbs blow out? When you flip the switch. The sudden energizing of a circuit is the most likely time a resistor will burn out. Lightbulb = PSU, RAM, GPU, CPU, etc.
