Being a Network Admin, I have 1000's of devices on my WAN that never get powered down. Leaving things on is actually better sometimes then turning it off.
That said, I have started to turn off my home gaming machine more often, because of the heat it generates and I think it does have a 5-10% effect on my power bill every month.
And, I too leave my BF2 DVD in the machine at all times. (actually it is my SF disk, not BF2)Comment

best ot make a iso image just in case...i have most of my fav games in iso format so i dont have to switch themComment
