Don't get me wrong i want all the hackers to get busted and banned !!! Without doubt but good thing i don't really play that much and have lot's of off time i will give Pb and even bal hell ! I'm innocent and will have this removed ! Again thank you all for your info !

That's right guys i was playing and got banned from my own server that i pay for isn't that fu((ing great ! I got guid banned for no reason here is the ss in my server from my point of veiw and my clan mate blades says [17]

PB sucks.

I've seen this happen to people on several occasions. Not in BF2 - but in other PB enabled games like SOF2 and COD2 etc. And then they go onto a forum asking for help, only for the clueless idiots to start with the "you cheat" accusations.

In those games, the players affected simply re-entered their CD key and all was well - the problem being that something had gone corrupt, which seemed to upset PB.

As for BF2 - I'm not sure if there's a simple way of re-entering the CD key. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling BF2? Then, ensure Punkbuster is up to date by using the PBSetup tool from http://websec.evenbalance.com/downlo...ws/pbsetup.exe

Don't forget to patch BF2 as well.

PB is great and does it's job well. You got banned for a reason, fortunately for you the 3rd party program/mod/or file change you used did not interfere with pb's normal operation. That's why you got a guid ban, instead of a hardware ban.

Stop whining go get another cd key, they cost 10-15 dollars, take it out of your kids allowance or something.

You may be right. Or, you may be wrong. Don't jump to conclusions - the poster could easily come back in a day or two and tell us it's all sorted. Then won't you look an idiot.

PB does a good job - but it's not perfect. Things can, and do, go wrong, and if it happens to you I'm sure you wouldn't expect such an arrogant response when you're asking your peers for advice. PB's only software - and as we should all know by now, software is rarely 100% reliable.

Watch you don't get too dizzy up there, on that high horse of yours.

NO i haven't done anything wrong ! That's the dang point i played today took a break got back was banned. Now if you can't understand that i can break down to a slow rate if you like. That's why i have come here hoping to get some answer's as to why this would happen thank you sir!

And no i will not pay for cd key i done nothing wrong ! Why should i it's the point and Principle of the matter i haven't done anything wrong why should i pay for it ! When nothing i have not put anyting on my pc.I did update xfire for my g15 key board the lcd works with xfire looks nice too.

Try re-installing the game. Completely. remove all instances of BF2.

I saw that a bunch of other nicks are binded to your CD-Key. Have you bought that game on Ebay or does anyone else play on that machine or has anybody else access to your CD-Key??

Still how can you see my cd key ? Am i lost or did you just say you see nicks on my key ? How this possible ?

Try re-installing the game. Completely. remove all instances of BF2.

Done and updated my pb still no luck

i took my comp in for service at a shop
when i got it back my bf2 cd was gone
they deny anything , i got 20 virus , guid banned and stats reset
so i know how u feel
worst part is no one cares
