Infantry only mode ranked or....?

Im wondering if this going to be ranked, if not I see not mutch future in it
If so...some finaly can get their pistol/knife badges
I have played some beta 1.4 infantry only....
Its great!
So anyone?

I asked the same question, they told me Yes its going to be ranked.

well it will be a server ooption so i assume there will be ranked servers runiing IO mode

If it wasn't ranked Id probally go insane based on the fact they would of wasted everyones time making a mode that no one will play

I don't see any reason not to make them ranked and was surprised to see the two threads on the forum relating to this.

yeh plain and simple..ranked and i think it is an exellent idea, gets rid of those annoying j10's and the unwanted tank appearing while your capping a flag. tho plating c4 on stuff like a terrorist is pretty fun

Some medals are easy to get this way...the pistol/knife ones for example

FINALLY. Now I just wish some of the better community maps were ranked and made for IO. I never play half of the maps so maybe now the ones I dont play will be better in IO with more squad teamwork.

I think IO will be a great gamemode.. No more artillery :) That was all what annoyed me and of course the tanks.. No more spawnraping tanks.. Though it only happens to me one time next time I spawn somewhere else.

also maps like WAKE ISLAND and OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP, and OMAN will be better cause you will actually be able to get to the game instead of either having to make a run for it in the chopper or swim cause the boats have no chance ESPECIALLY in WAKE!

Id like to see you try land a boat in Wake.

And when a smart boat-captain goes in a circle, I wish you good luck jogging to catch up.

Then well see TONS of threads a´la "Hey DICE, I dont want to suicide and hurt my KDR, so add a few buggies in, plz!!!!!1"

Then again, people who want IO just want Karkand with no tanks, so I wish people best of luck to see non-city maps in IO rotation.


Im working on setting up a topic for DICE to scrap ALL air defenses in Ranked mode in all aerial maps, because I think its lame that I get shot by a STINGER site.
