Don't know why people are upset, EA didn't even officially announce a patch release for today. There was some article translated from some foreign forum, but no official EA community update.

Although the patch was announced to be released today (by EA Spain), it seems a small bug has been found and needs to be fixed before patch release. The release of patch 1.4 has been postponed 24 hours in order to allow more testing and the fix of this small bug.

We will keep you up to date about this issue.
Better a good and fixed patch than a hotfix release next week

We will just have to wait then ... what's a day here or there ... not as if the game is unplayable with 1.3.
It feels like some guys just heard that their employer delayed their monthly WAGES paygment and they are pissed.
Damn ... its just a game, be glad that they are doing any patching!

The release of patch 1.4 has been postponed 24 hours in order to allow more testing and the fix of this small bug.

My bet is that its the sharqui glich... it was present in the Beta 2

I love all the childish rants and death wishes toward EA. When it's finished, it will be released. All the crying in the interim makes me laugh. I can tell who is old enough to have experienced real tragedy in life, and who is here whining about a game, lol.

It's not the first time the US/UK sites have taken their time to announce anything. Like that time a patch was released a couple days before it was actually announced =/

In theory yes, but they've delayed patches in the past to polish them and double check them. It made no difference though, they still released a crappy patch, multiple times, over and over again.

Sorry if my faith in DICE's patches is a bit wobbly, I think it's justified though.

There are differences between crying because a game doesn't work and crying because you have paid for a thing that you can't use properly.

Everyone knows that life is odds but here we are all annoyed because they promise and promise but there are no results.

Exactly...well said. I was disappointed that the patch was delayed, but heck, if it means that they avert a disaster of 1.3 proportions then so be it. Seriously, some of you people need to get a grip. Sure, EA/DICE has messed up, but they are human just like the rest of us. I'm sure if anyone of you was on the EA/DICE programming team, the game would be a lot better. Maybe you should go apply for a job!
