what i heard may not be true but the three star general with the highest score each month gets promoted to general... so every month the highest scoring three star general will become four star for ever... this is just what i have heard before i think it is true may not be

i'm a long way off from general ranks (me being Sergeant Major). but i think its ruddy stoopid that you have to have a certain amount of time to make it. i know a couple of colonels who have all the badges needed but only have like 850 hours with nearing 4 SPM's. don't seem fair that the players with true skill wont make those high ranks that they diserve

They already "nerf'd" the requirements down from expert to veteran AFTER some of us worked our 4$$ off for 100's of hours to get all expert badges, so imho you guys shouldn't have anything to complain about:|:

They also "nerf'"d (cut in half) the hrs. for heli, aviator, & transport

avaitor 300
heli 300
150 transport
7x100 for the kits

It used to be 1850 hrs minumum to be general

i think you kinda misunderstood what i was trying to say.

even if they did nerf the time down from 1850 it still seems stoopid that those colonels that have all the badges (and most probably did work they butt off to get them pre-nerf) can't make the higher ranks that the real skilled players should have because they have not got the time.

that is unless you don't have to have the time but can have the badges before hitting 180,000.

say you have 170,000 points, all the badges needed, and bout 900 hours game time. when you hit 180,000 you won't be promoted to b.general becasue of the lack of game time. but what if you get the 1000+hours after the 180,000 mark will you get the promotion. imo you should, but i'm guessing you don't

Trust me son, I understand what you are saying, but you seem to be missing a couple of the pieces of the puzzle, allow me to "enlighten" you, there are only a handful of Colonels w/ 180,000+ points, & they are still Colonels because they DON"T have all the badges (even after the requirements were nerf'd), because they just play for fun playing their fav kit, & don't care about badges, or rank, & they can rank up to General when ever they get the badges

You sound like 1 of those "high ranks only means you play a lot, & the best (1's w/ real skill) players are low ranks" guys

90%+ players w/ 180,000+ are already generals (& didn't need the requirements nerf'd to earn General) like me that got the requirements changed after we did 100+ hrs in all the crappy kits (lowering our SPM), some guys sat in servers afk to get their time requirement (lowering their SPM)

Take Blazin.UK, or Volx for instance, he is a Colonel, & he has a high SPM, & has earned enough points to be General, start all over with a new account, & earn General all over again, are you saying he doesn't have skill??????????

Or are you saying that those boys w/ 850 hrs. & all vet badges have more skill than us Generals w/ all expert badges?????????

@ least you guys didn't get the requirements nerf'd AFTER you did all the work, I think you guys have very little to complain about, how many more nerf's do you want?????, if every 1 is a general then it will mean even less than it already does

I think they should have left it like it was, EXPERT IN EVERYTHING, vet badges are TOO DAMN EASY

i didn't say that you had no skill, i was just saying that those particular people without the time because they got to the high ranks rather quickly that they don't have the time to make the higher ranks.

i'd much rather have no time requirement and must have expert kits before ranking up, as i see most majors+ have only 1 or 2 expert kits missing.

not arguing just saying it seems unfair on some individuals. and liek you said "everyone would be general", they wouldn't if they had to have all expert kit badges, and i see that as fair. imo, and again its just my opinion
